The battery is over the front wheel on the driver side. The connection under the hood is not the battery but it is just a hookup to the battery to jump start/and voltage test. My only worry is going through high water with the battery so low over the wheel.

Good natured cussing. That's okay. "What this is". The round at the bottom is for four wheel drive, you've a two, it was easier for their production line to include it. I just picked up a Nissan, almost the same one, the only things about it are the turning radius and gas mileage. I wouldn't have minded a power outlet that was powered all the time without the key in the ignition, one in the cab and another maybe in the back box.

cvt is only bad if you keep redlining it in sports mode so if you use sports mode shift at low rpm

As long as you take care of it then the car with take care of you. I sold it cause it had over 200k miles and I wanted something better. But never had CVT problems

Just bought the 2020 Kia. Very nice car! Clean and sporty, very sleek. Paint is called "silky silver". I love the big data screen, true the sound system can be better, but you can always up grade it later. Big trunk and rear seats can drop down for even more space you may even slide a couple of sheets of plywood in it. Bluetooth ready for your smartphone so you can listen to your playlist or app. And finally, the 2020 Forte has three drive modes you can switch on the fly, yes that's right while you're driving on the road. Press the button next to the shifter and bam, you get sport mode- smart mode- and normal mode. Just remember fuel economy deffers depending on what mode you're using. Read your manual.

When you said, " 222 thousand miles, it's a grandpa" I died🤣😂😅 When you spoke of the Mazda CX-5 2020 Model, I agree it's REAL NICE!! In December 2020 I rented a mazda cx-5 2021 model it only had about 50 to 100 miles on it I believe and I drove it from Washington state all the way home to New Orleans (because I lost my mother) and back to Washington State, I put about 5,000 miles on it in less than a week. I say all that to say this that mazda cx-5 is flipping great I love it!! Those Jeeps are not bad at all either #MajorProps 🤙💯
