Besides that lame ass, cop-out of an ending- "The light's winning."- this show was great. Back then. It was so dark and truthful that Nic felt like he had to give a happy ending. But it always came off as false. Rust was the smartest guy in the room, barely had any "Flaws"- as far as cinematic storytelling goes- but all of the sudden, at the very last minute, he becomes a Christian. There was no buildup whatsoever to the random Christian ending
