Best memories i ever had with these legends. I love our road racing and miss it so much. I had a serious motorcycle accident losing many bones and brain bleeds not racing but on open roads. I never raced but was part of a small road racing team and had fantastic times in the paddocks. Im determined to get back on a bike again and visit the graves of all these heros i miss so much. This might have been the cause of his fatal crash, it look like his engine blew up and splash on the back tyre causing him too loose traction. Very sad Rest In Peace William 💙

@@ChinnyRusso wasn't it because the bike bottomed out and broke the sump causeing oil on his back tire? He was great racer such a shame. Can't belive it was 2018 doesn't seem long ago. R. I. P wd

@@ChinnyRusso Like the guy above me said: pretty sure his bike bottomed out and broke his oil pan causing oil to spill on his rear tire which obviously led to loss of traction. During that he was coming out of a high speed turn and tried to save it but it was basically impossible. There's a video somewhere on KZbin but it's hard to find because it's age restricted. In said video you can slow it down and watch it frame by frame. His bike forced him to the right side of the road into the dirt, where he hit a jump and got launched into the air. As he hit the jump his helmet came off and from then on he couldn't do anything. Was such a fantastic guy, god bless his soul. That's why I always tell people, if they ever get into some sort of situation that endangers their lives while riding, just bail out. Jump off the bike. Don't try to save it. You can buy a new bike, not a new life.

Yurp it does. Your throat lands right on that wind screen and either chokes you or cuts you. No throat protection on motorcycle apparel gear. I remember when I was a teen and landed on the dials of my little 100cc bike. Didn't think I would ever breathe again.
