i believe you have a flawed point of view on the beef. you say that drake won because of your own biased feelings, when in reality the objective truth does not agree. kendrick’s music over all isn’t as popular as drakes but is better received and it’s not even close. look at the statistics. kendrick has more rewards, a pulitzer, and guaranteed glowing reviews across the board with 3X less songs. you continuously say that you “feel” drakes music more, but the public doesn’t agree with you there either. the popular opinion from what i’ve seen has been that drakes music was hollow, while kendrick’s made them feel what he was saying. every reaction video you’ll see when you compare them both, is people having strong reactions to kendrick’s bars, and lukewarm physical reactions to drakes. kendrick won in both the regards of lyrics and feeling by and large. i understand you have your preference, but that doesn’t mean drake won. the winner is decided by who the culture got. and the culture is screaming kdot.

I don't do any of that. That's to complicated. I use wave lab, and what I do is I take a kick and I'll highlight some of the kick part at the end and then I'll take the 808 and blend it that way. When you right click in wave lab there's an option for pasting whatever you copied, that's what I do, I paste. If you go up to editor in wave lab there's an option for mix paste, this I don't do. It doesn't sound right to me. My kick and 808's mixed sound find to me.
