Thanks for this tutorial. Quick question. At 6:52 you say we must select the same folder as where the PSD files are created. Does this mean we MUST create a PSD file? I have no requirement for the PSD files, can I just export the JPEG?

Can I map a hex code defined in my csv file to a seatch in my document ? For instance I have three columns | txtContent | bgClr | txtClr | I can map txtContent to my text object content but can I like bgClr value to the fill of a rectangle in my doc and txtClr to the fill color of my text object with variables ? I know I’ll prob have to write a script but thought id ask if it’s achievable with any of the built in tools

Is there a way to have multiple 'pixel replacement' variables? I've added a layer for each photo in the Photoshop template file, and a column with the same name (e.g. Photo1, Photo2 etc) in the data file (tab delimited text). Where the data row only has one pixel replacement photo, I've tried two methods in the data file - added "" to the empty pixel replacement cells, but I then get a message saying the pixel replacement file cannot be found. When I leave it blank, I get a message saying it cannot parse the file as the row is incomplete (which is the normal error when having empty cells as text replacements) Any advice greatly appreciated

Hi, great video thanks - do you know if this is possible to do as you show with the preloaded images (the faces in this example) and NOT adding any text elements? So what I mean is get the bulk file upload to just do that one part of the action - if you need the rest of the format for the file can it be blank or contain something like a blank space that would not show on a graphic only design? I know you can’t add the graphics into a csv but if you can get the csv to automate a replacement process for a template that would still be a win. Thanks.

Hi there! Great tutorial!!! Really useful stuff. I am now wondering if it is possible to take it to the next level, which would be really helpful to me. In my case, I have to populate around 200 textboxes in the same document with data from Excel sheet and repeat this in several documents. So, let's say in Excel I have one column with the name (100 names) and one column with their nationality (100 nationalities). I would like then to fill in 200 textboxes with the name and nationality of the 100 people. Is this possible in any way? Thank you so much for your content!

Great tutorial, extremely helpful and super fast and concise! I am though having a bit trouble with some of my images not being the right size after importing the data set, some variable images work fine while others gets smaller everytime I import a new version of the data set ... anyone knows why this happens?
