27:44 In Lobuche watching the sunset over Nuptze was one of the best views I had on my EBC. And one of my best photos...

I agree 100% the other nice place is Kala Patthar for both Sunsets or Sunrises of Everest / Nuptse or Lhotse.

Vallee Blanche remains indeed one of the most spectacular and accessible ski run you can take in the world. Thanks.

@@philippeschmitt8907 I should have said classic descent, because this is off-piste, isn't it? Videos like yours help a lot of us, vicariously. Cheers, and hope we both get out this upcoming season.

@@DRMET Hors-Piste it is and if you are not familliar with the valley, my advice is to hire a guide for the day from the "Maison Des Guide de Chamonix". Check my comment to Changho LEE about a year ago. This valley can change everyday because it's a glacier, crevasses can open and close from one day to another. Guides are the PROs and the ones from Chamonix are probably amonsgt the best in the world.

nice video! How difficult is it? like black Slope or red slope?

Sorry for the late reply and thanks for your comment. I did this trip several times and I would say that passed the very beginning of the descent when you have to reach the skiing starting point (Yes it is challenging for folks afraid of heights), the rest of the descent is not very difficult. The challenge is more coming from the crevasses and ever changing terrain based on weather and snow conditions (For example, at minute 5:50 you can see my friend in an awkward position but he actually lost his ski in a crevasse that was completely hidden on the main slope). My recommendation is to use the services of one of the Chamonix Mountain Guides. It will cost you about $250 for a group of 5-10 people, but it is worth every penny. Those guys live and breathe these mountains and are the ultimate PROs, dont go without one, that is my advice. Here is the link: www.chamonix-guides.com/fr /Philippe Schmitt
