Amazing video! Do you speak any level of Japanese Proficiency?

I’m really enjoying your videos, it’s getting me excited to travel to Japan in February with my husband and baby (will be 11 months old). Would love if you could make a video giving advice on travelling internationally with a baby, or especially how to do it in Japan!

Hi do you have an itinerary for Japan? I’m looking to travel with my 8 month old in October this year! So nervous as so many people have said Japan is full of stairs and isn’t doable with a baby

All SANYO / HOKURIKU SHINKANSEN trains have multipurpose rooms. Although customers with disabilities have priority, ask a crew member if you would like to use a room for breastfeeding. Also, the western style toilets on the SANYO SHINKANSEN have diaper changing tables, and western style toilets on the HOKURIKU SHINKANSEN have baby beds. Certain limited express trains on conventional lines also have multipurpose rooms and diaper changing tables as well

Do they have ready made meals or just snacks? Thanks!

Unfortunately the ones we went to didn’t have any ready made meals. Luckily in Japan a 7-eleven, family mart or Lawson is never far away for ready made meals!

Nice video! We are travelling to Japan from NZ in May with our 8 yr old and 17months old so slightly nervous! Did you guys find it easy to get around with a pram especially in subways etc?
@thekazmers Жыл бұрын
Yes, if you have a good travel pram that can fold down and be carried easily. All the major train stations have elevators for disability access but some of the older smaller stations only have stairs or maybe only 1 elevator for the whole station.

When eating at restaurants, where did you guys end up putting the stroller? Was there a designated area in most places or did you have to leave it outside?
@thekazmers Жыл бұрын
Some restaurants had areas that you could store your stroller, but most didn't. We took a Yoyo travel stroller that could fold up and store under the table
