As I was monitoring traffic on the fire there was very little to no traffic between there except for a dozer breaking down during the attempt to make acess

IC said they would update if there were any changes, 2258 pdt IC stated they made access to the fire but pulled everyone off the line due to increased fire activity.

1:29:27 IC update because things changed and the guys that got to the fires edge didn't want to get trapped down there and DIE!! 1:30:36 dispatch operator says 1258 meant 2258. Stated pretty plainly.

@@Rawkstar1960 I'm a local and had friends that were working the fire. I agree with the investigations findings I know there was lightning in the area weeks prior and as unlikely as it sounds it can take weeks for a fire to pop up, we've actually had it happen recently after the rain we had on the days before September 20th. passenger aircraft reported a couple of smoldering trees north of mammoth pool. Pot growers...at least the smart ones try to avoid things that might get them noticed like building camp fires which would be easily spotted in that area by people in big creek or coming down from stump springs and Huntington lake road, hearing a generator over the power station when it's running is not gonna happen unless you are fairly close to it because the turbines in that power station can be heard from over a mile.
