Jerry, I don't know if you are active on this site but in case, this is hello from your fellow classmate at St. Paul's school in Jacksonville Beach back in 1950. My name then was Theresa Christian (married name and nickname followed). You took me on my first "date" to the movies, King Solomons Mines, I believe. We use Cato Networks for our SD-WAN, Internet Edge Firewall, WAN ( Est-West ) Firewall, VPN client for remote employees and contractors, and for TLS and others. It works VERY well. The cloud native backbone provides a very stable and reliable WAN. A number of years ago when Daniel Chait was CEO of Lab49, I interviewed with him for a job. Right before the session began, he placed a small device on the desk between us and said, "I hope you don't mind if I record our interview." I reached into my briefcase, took out my phone and responded, "only if you don't mind if do likewise." "Yes I do", he responded. That short interaction told me everything I needed to know about this him. I got up and walked out of his office without saying a word. Do you still do that, Daniel? I wonder.

It is pretty easy to "make" a real creature. All they are really doing is injecting DNA into templates to get a new effect. So he made a plant that glows in the dark and some bacteria that make different smells. It is all pretty easy to do. Most research being done in pretty much any college labs involve doing very similar things, but less gimikey. He is trying to turn it into a profitable business. Or was I guess. People made fun of him from this speech and drove him to take his own life.
