Whenever I see this photograph, and others say, "Look what America has done," I always ask, "Show me the American in the photograph!" They can't........ because there was none! The skyraider aircraft shown, was flown by the South Vietnam air force. Americans did not pilot them. The South Vietnamese air force was prohibited from supporting American troops, therefore the infantry troops seen, were South Vietnamese Army troops! The magazine showing the photo, purposefully avoided this truth, in order to support the established narrative, created by cowardly liberals to slander American servicemen whenever possible..... We operated within instructed protocols designed to respect the lives of civilians, and many American servicemen needlessly died because of these protocols......I was there.....the weak can always be found at home, quite content to live off the service of others, while being forced to cling to a Liberal narrative for their masculinity! Nothing has changed......

Also I don't entirely agree with everything Bergson says hut though I never went to Cannes to cover it as press, I certainly agree with him about the festival: It's largely for professionals. In fact, this interview reminds me of discussions and conversations I had with fellow media.menbers and filmmakers about different film festivals .

Interesting interview. I just returned to writing about film after previously having been a film critic and reviewer for about 8 years I was primarily a film festival reviewer in that I could only cover films by attending and covering film festivals.. So the interview brought back memories of going to film fests as a journalist , writer and later film critic including screenings and interviews with actors and filmmakers.
