I know you won’t see this but if you ever go again do a ghost tour! They tell you all the haunted streets and haunted buildings. One was about a man with a top hat and a cat that walks down the street!!

Always wanted to do that. I’ve heard they are terrifying with jump-scare people. I’m sure some are not but it’s like Russian Roulette. If I’m walking around upstairs and someone comes out at me with an axe, I’d have a stroke. lol.

Why the writers utilized the address of Archie and Edith Bunkers house with the number 704, on Houser St. is not a credible or actual address number in Queens. Yes, it was done for tv and the creator Norman Lear and the writers. But addresses of houses in Queens contain 5 digits, 3 for the street and/ or ave. #, and the last 2 for the house no. For example, my cousins, aunt and uncle lived at 95-17 114St. when they lived in Richmond Hill. The only section of Queens which has standard street nos. is the Rockaways, we lived at 342 Beach 56th. St. 704 Houser was used as the Bunker house address so as not to confuse viewers who were not Queens residents I would presume.

On our family trips in the 1970s there used to be signs for the Shell Factory every few miles down the highway. 50 miles to, 35 miles to...15 miles to...do many signs. I loved shopping there as a kid.

@@JeffGiovanniello I wasn't the most sociable kid in high school, but we probably knew people in common. When Facebook became a mass phenomenon thing circa 2008, I joined a Curtis '88 group, but after a couple of years I quit social media (I guess KZbin is social media, but I hide behind a pseudonym here). I'll look for you in my yearbook, which I actually have even though I skipped graduation.

@@grasmereguy5116 I wasn't one of the cool kids, although I was in their class lol. I was in Marching Band. We (the band) went to Hawaii in Freshman year for $400. It went downhill for me from there lol.

@@JeffGiovanniello Oh, wow, marching band, you can't get cooler than that! I think I remember a girl who was in marching band named Kristin Conrad, she was a drummer (I think she was in marching band), I seem to remember her schlepping her drums around. She seemed kinda cool, she had a heavy metal vibe to her even if she was in marching band. I guess I liked her, she had kind of an "I don't give a f*ck* attitude to her that was attractive. I also remember her coming into math early in the morning class with a big cup of coffee and trying to stay awake. I don't think I even talked to her much, if at all, but she is who I think of if I think "marching band" (not 100% sure she was in it, but I know I remember her lugging that drum set around. Maybe jazz band?). Weird, I guess sort of retroactively 35 years later, I am realizing I had sort of a crush on her. Don;t tell me you married her! Personally, I was in such an excliusive clique in high school, I was the only one in it! I transferred to Curtis in my sophomore year, I went to an Orthodox Jewish yeshiva high school in Elizabeth, New Jersey for my freshman year. I wore a kippah (a/k/a yarmulke, Jewish skullcap) my first year of high school, so I stood out for that in some people's memories years later (the Jewish kid with the beanie). To the extent I hung out after school with Curtis friends, I sort of hung out with the nerdy computer and Dungeons and Dragons kids (even though I couldn't program or play D&D.) So I was a hanger-on outcast among the outcastes.

@grasmereguy5116 I went to Curtis from IS 27. Most everyone else was from IS 61, so I was pretty much an outcast from day one. I don’t miss a soul from those days. In fact, you are the coolest guy I ever “met” from CHS.
