I Live in Michigan so you like very similar climate! And I would love to have a water feature in my back yard, but, it's a permission thing yes. I know the plants! And I would have frogs and a turtle.... :-) .... and some Michigan "Picture Plants", too, to eat up mosquitoes we have more than the turtle can eat hahahah.

For sure we recommend 2 weeks before releasing fish into a new pond. That being said I can report the fish are thriving.

How much does a truckload of rocks like that cost?

Total cost of the rock/ fill/ armour was around 18k. The granite was 8k of it but we had so much around the feature and driveway to do.

Challenge! Bring your kids outside more this summer, let them get wet or dirty. Bring them to nature, or even better Bring them to aquahaven and feed the fish, play in the waterfalls
