That would be interesting. Well Shotts have this Tribute band Because alot of NIreland players played in it. THE MCALLISTERS WAS ORIGINALLY FROM COLERAINE OR CARRICKFERGUS AREA ALSO THE GREAT WHITE HAIRED KING OF PIPE BAND DRUMMING ALEXANDER DUTHART ALSO ORIGINALLY CAME FROM ONE OF THE TWO PLACES RESPECTFULLY THEY BOTH HAD MASSIVE INFLUENCES ON NORTHERN IRELAND PIPERS AND DRUMMERS. ESPECIALLY MCALLISTER SPENT TIME WITH CULLYBACKEY PIPE BAND AND WAS AFFILIATION WITH OTHERS . BOTH GAVE TO PIPE BANDS BEFORE OTHER BANDS WAS INVENTED.

She should learn how to smile more with her eyes and concentrate more on proper blowing. But I'm sure no one there cared.....

Have to say I enjoyed the performance yesterday, it was music for the love of it, no contest stresses. Also liked the drum-major display. Well done all involved.

The late Rufus Harley would surely like to be acknowledged as having taken the bagpipes into the Jazz and Blues world before Honey Blo

Thank you for your service Rab 😂. This is the most of this episode I’ve ever seen, and of course I’ve been asked many times if I’ve seen this episode.

Having been in a band that has been exposed to the audio judging sheets I can tell you that it is brilliant, it allows us all to understand comments from the judges in real time as it happens, this is invaluable to allowing our band to learn and move forward with our progress. Thanks for giving our band Vale United Pipe Band from British Columbia, Canada a shout out in your podcast.

The audio judging is awesome from a competitor standpoint. To hear their comments with the band playing in the background, you know exactly what the judge was referring to. Love it! I'm a Piper with Vale United.

Could not agree more .The big band sound and playing in Grade 2 . Mid section are spectacular and add so much tonal quality to ensemble . Bass drummer is producing so much forward motion it is unreal

Im sure they did a bit of background story on St Thomas Alumni on the World's programme once. I think they spoke about that amazing young man who's blind or partially and a player taps his foot. What an inspiration he is and proving you can do absolutely anything. Awesome medley too! 😊

That was painful to watch. My opinion the piper is just not experienced enough in playing or maintenance to do public performances... Disaster.. and that chanter sound😢😢
