You're not suppose to turn motor on with just hose connection. You need rabbit ears on. You're impeller is probably burned up.

I wouldnt upsize the fuse my man, they are designed that way.... stronger isnt always better. You shorted it most likely and popped the fuse.

go wide open, the nose will drop down. put alittle more weight in the front too
