This killed the MMORPG out of it, I used to play it on PS4 couples years ago had a fucking blast, tbh Leveling is the player experience that should be taken into account not the game story experience if you are too strong or too weak for the current zone it's based on your skills & knowledge as a player but not anymore you will always do same amount of dmg in that story progress and it's a boring progress. I came back 5 days ago and i always feel weak no matter the upgrade as if the whole story is a tutorial to bring you into a daily routine endgame side-quest. This isn't a MMO anymore.

for your own sanity DON'T start the adventures in the order the item level recommends Undermountain and Elemental Evil are SOOOOOOOOO boring and takes like A WEEK to finish it (not kidding) do straight to The Dwarven King and etcetera (seriously, you're gonna thank me later)

I played on PS4 back in 2016 right when Tomb of Annihilation dropped. Just picked it up again and HOLY CRAP! It’s like a completely different game! This was a great refresher and kind of intro to the new stuff. Thank you!

Call Martha Mensching, boring level grinding. It is obnoxious but the idea of starting a new character when you have to grind up to level 80 to get to endgame is up noxious I mean yes be there might’ve reduced to level 20 because of DMB. I find that hard to believe since most of this game doesn’t follow any of the rules of dungeons and dragons but OK so why pay dropped after 20 far more likely the best grandma level creep over the years instead of just heading out another 10 or 20 levels Which also makes it difficult for returning players because now they gonna grind out Bridgette brand new gear and all that shit they just decided to squish and James still I won’t process so if I want to try out of Barta new class comes out I can quickly jump island for five hours.
