The Sith may, at times, be cooler. But let any who dare say they are right look at the lunatics who prepared such an abomination just to avoid admitting defeat, and the heroes who chose to walk barefoot into hell just so their brothers, friends, and galaxy might know peace. There you will find the true darkness of the Sith and the radiant light of the Jedi.

I wonder what the operational limit to a Thought Bomb is? Is it dependent on the Sith creating it? If so, could a powerful enough force user tank the blast?
@brianrunyon26621 сағат бұрын
One of many favorite Legends novels. From what I've gathered, the Thought Bomb sounds like a Dark Side powered nuclear device.

I think Hoth might be one of the most courageous characters in all of Star Wars. Imagine doing this. Willingly walking into the heart of Ruusan knowing that if Lord Kaan successfully detonates the Thought Bomb, your soul might languish in an eternity of torment. The sheer balls of steel to go ahead anyways and in service of others exemplifies everything that a leader should be.

Thank god DIZNEY shitty plus didn’t make a series of this novel. They would’ve nerfed and belittle Vader’s character and lifestyle after episode 3 (Literally one month after the events of ROTS” ). Disney SW books or series can’t come close to this quality of storytelling.

To think, Sirak was once considered the epitome of strength and power at the Academy. Indeed, he was the future of the New Sith. However, the Dark Side had other plans, better plans. A thousand years later, Sirak wouldn't even get a second glance from Sidious.

Githany, IMO, served her purpose. I really thought she would follow Bane but in the end, she was still indoctrinated by The Brotherhood despite the fact she helped Bane reawaken his inner fire. She simply wouldn’t have understood why the Sith needed to be reborn in only two ppl. Bane understood it was a waste of time explaining this to her and he realized she was too occupied with the thrill of pointless war. He didn’t stop her from going back to the brotherhood. She sought power and rightly so but looked in the wrong place. By the time she realized her mistake, it was too late. It’s unclear if her soul is forever trapped in the thought bomb or her spirt was able to escape because she was several miles away from the explosion even though she died.

Bane gave her multiple chances to change her ways and view the Sith as he did, but I wouldn't say she was blinded by Kaan's insanity. She was definitely blind to his insanity and only realized that mistake when it was too late, but even at the end she never truly understood why Bane had cast her aside. If she had, she would have realized that he would have just killed her if she had somehow managed to escape. I remember there was another Sith towards the end, can't remember the name, who tried to pledge himself to Bane but, when his vision for the future of the Sith didn't match Bane's own, Bane killed him. And he wrote off Githany as a lost cause when she chose to do things Kaan's way, the wrong way. He recognized that Githany was unable or unwilling to see the flaws of the Brotherhood and because of that, she had to die with the rest of them.
