How can we watch Monster Carp in South Africa? Which streaming service?
@neilreitz58318 күн бұрын
Must mention it again what an awesome . Just spoke the Martin Louw, he knows Klipkopjes well, he recons it's all about the depth you fish at night as to depths fishing in the day day

Thank you for such a high grade production in putting this video together. I really enjoyed watching it 👏 Would have been so cool to see a video on the work done in getting the boat to its current state. Look forward to seeing more videos come out hopefully in the near future 💚

Nice love it, I recon one of our bait boats with gps would make your setup next level. getting lines out easily and repeatedly once on the fish.

This weekend I tried the size 6x wide gape Basix range hooks. I was blown away by how sharp they were. Landed 3 of 3 runs, even with the barbs pressed flat. Two of those carp even lodged themselves in reeds at one point but they were all absolutely NAILED (as the Gaffer would say).

Gilbert I remember back years ago that you and Loutjie came to help the Gauteng carp team with a few finer details and sho things have changed hey. We did it at Donnies and those days the trees across were still full and thick. its amazing how much easier things have become from those days of uncoated braid and Amnesia and then the Suffix coated braid. I still have one of the original GilFox pods. My first alarms were i think some second hand set a friend brought from the UK

Epic video thanks gents. Would like to get your insights and thoughts about boat fishing more in dept. You just mentioned some few points out in this video. I think if we can get anglers like Louis Britz or Neville Barnard that has done this in the past to share there experience on how boat fishing is. Once again awesome podcast from well respected anglers in SA.

Great content Guys, if you want to get more people into proper carp fishing as one of the goals of doing this i think it wouldn't be a bad idea to speak about how people can start, what you need to just get going, from point A-Z, for people listening to this is would sound very daunting and complicated, for instance listening to this if i was a novice i would think i can't do this facet of fishing nowadays if i don't have a boat or fish finder and all that which is all very expensive and potentially put people of from even trying, just my thoughts on it, people can learn a hell of a lot from you Guys guidance. Thanks again, great video

Interresting thamks guys, question for the Korda on another note. I fish 90% of the time with korda crank no 4 and twice now i have bent my hooks open, once at Roodekoppies and once in the Vaal river, are those hooks on the "soft" side
@kordasouthafricacarpfishin36713 ай бұрын
Hi Neil. It's not often we get feedback like this regarding the Krank or any of our range of hooks. They are all manufactured to the highest standard with the highest grade Japanese steel. The only reason a quality hook would bend open is due to faulty rig mechanics (or hooking into snags like tree stumps or rocks).

Best hour and a half vid i watched in a few months.. love the stories of the olden dayz of carp fishing.. now the stories we tell of fishing trips is more of how you survived the fishing trip in stead of the good times you had.. its a big pity that it has come to that. I agree with you guys to say the power of social media can fix that.. it would be awesome to be able to take your loved ones.. a tent.. and fishing gear and go fish safely for them big ones. Love the vid keep it up.
