Hoas are awful! The back yard is pretty depressing, I guess some don't want a nice yard. I like the inside and outside of house. Clear shower gets dirty and water stained easily. You didn't show garbage.

As a renter who moved here 5 months ago with a $3-4k rent budget please avoid renting from commercial company based landlords. This included townhomes and houses and I would love to give names specifically but my husband and I have had to sign an NDA. New homes and townhomes are to avoided at all costs. We ended up finding a private owner renting a beautiful home in Kuna after experiencing the nightmare of Meridian. Stay away from Ustick at all costs! It resembles mad max with 12-14 year old boys playing motocross right outside your home and I wish I was referring to children and not the boy men that have been attracted to the free living lifestyle of Idaho. Would avoid the peanut butter smelling part of Nampa as it is overrun with Hispanics that the commercial home/townhome builders are using for cheap labor on and around Meridian up to Boise.

I bought a cabin in Bonners Ferry Idaho up by the Canadian and Montana border and absolutely love it. Unfortunately I can't move into it permanently for 2 1/2 more years because that's when I will retire and get out of Washington the hell hole. I need that pension

I’d move there like State Line off I-90 or close to it. I have a daughter in Deer Park, WA on a farm. Unfortunately WA sucks . At least Idaho has some disabled veterans benefits and as of 2025 will issue a federally compliant drivers license and require ID to vote. Except my wife doesn’t like the cold . I grew up in the hills in WA a few miles from Mt Rainier park entrance so we got cold and snow a lot.

I’m not sure how long ago you moved from SD but CA’s healthcare has gone downhill fast. The best doctors who never pushed the vaccine and would always weigh the balance between risk and reward on the patients individual health, are all now private, and do not accept Health Insurance. UCLA has expanded to a giant complex across all of Southern California that I know of. They take on doctors right out of school and force them to listen to what computer programs tell them what to do next rather than go off of years of trusted experience. Doctors no longer touch their patients and feel for problems and use their instinct those days are gone.

What we’ve seen so far is home prices are almost equal to where we came from in California. Electricity/gas and automobile gas are significantly cheaper. Groceries we noticed are the same or some times more expensive then where we came from in Californian. And the tax on food is unwelcomed. We definitely like that people are nicer here. People always complement us on our children when we’re all out together. That never happened in California.

Idaho needs to take back control of their schools.

This is wildly inaccurate. As a recent CA transplant to the Treasure Valley in Idaho, roads are just as messed up and the infrastructure is a disaster. To much development too fast led to not enough stop lights and stop signs, no funding to add them and incredible traffic congestion. (Think 405 during rush hour CA people)

The whole eagle star area has turned to crap. It looks more like Orange County now trash, crime, rude drivers, high prices for everything it's just not worth living here anymore

I've watched most of your videos and I think this one is your best 👍 Two things you didn't address: pipes freezing and termites. Are either of these a problem in the TV?
