My heart sings a sweet melody all about u, my soul's need and I understand that you come across time just to show me that love never ends No, never the end

It's hard to believe the singer and arranger of this version is a bluegrass musician. Look up "Jack Bowden bluegrass", the man plays a mean banjo.

Lyrics: Wish I could believe that you care for me that way. Mirror mirror speak to me. In the night... Don't you think I know this grief can't be cried away? In the tears I cry, I see you. Rainy day... Why can't I love you so? Sleep won't come to me... With the eyes closed the mind has a perfect view.. It's.. just.. we two are. Lost in your arms I float away. Don't you know? Once daylight comes I'm searching for you. "I've met someone else," you say as you looked away. So..now at last I know where you've been. Who's this new love 'ed tell me do they love you then? Such a fool that I have been. Foolish me.... Why can't I love you so? Sleep won't come to me. If I could touch you there's so much I wanna say.. Like.. I love you... Sometimes a silence speaks the most. Just listen. Could be that Key's a heartbeat away. [Bridge] Lost in your arms I float away... Don't you know? Don't you know? Will these new day I'm longing for you... I wanna guide your heart back to me. With these two hands. I wanna know it's me that you love... Oh.. at last you needn't be afraid. Dont' be 'fraid. Could be the key's a heartbeat away. Right Now! Right Now!!

I remember how the ballad and pop music, like the Rock let to your emotions and feelings, actually the music doesn't have these impacts how before times, those soundtracks were the top of the creation of inspiration in artistic quality from OVAs and anime series. This voice stays in your heart.

The song is very good but i find it hilarious that nobody realized the music video as part of the song was basically an announcement "I am coming to kill you" except the head of the company.

bullshit. I love this anime but most of the time in the fight scene the character just stand around waiting to get hit. . just like watching slideshow. not to mention the editing there are a bunch of Hard cuts from one scene to another. sure a lot of modern anime isn't very good trash even, but at least the action scenes are pretty good even with shitty isekai anime.

Timeless song
@tiamatmichellehart6821 Жыл бұрын
You heard some lyrics I didn't, and it seems I did the same. Here's our fully-fused version of the lyrics: Heartbeat of the cold, hard city As the wind cries in mournful pity *Lonely* Can you feel the fear in the night? Lost ones seeking thoughts(?) salvation Voices screaming in desperation *Help me* *Help me find the way to the light!* Once whispered cries Echoed through the skies A futile call Then hope came through It came from you Save us all! We want you, soldier girls! Soldier girls! Pierce the dark clouds above us With your bright light! We want you, soldier girls! Soldier girls! Shield us within your armour Give us new sight We want you, soldier girls! Soldier girls! Courage drawn from the truth that's inside *No turning back* ; no place to hide Make it right Hang on tight!

@@Beata_Wu Listening to it again I do believe you're right, and it makes even more sense given the context! We're still deciphering these mystery lyrics 30 years after the fact; it's a shame Genom never released their records!

@@tiamatmichellehart6821 I totally agree! I'm not a native speaker and watching it for the first time I was a teenager with average English so only listening to it now I can catch things that I wasn't able to catch before. I still have some gaps in "Chase the dream" even though it's very similar to the original text, as in translation.
@Beata_Wu Жыл бұрын
Oh and more one thing. Like 15 years ago I asked a British guy to help me with "Chase the dream" and he said that the singer, even though her skills are fantastic, had horrible pronunciation at some points plus it's not the best quality so he didn't give me 100% either!
