I start at 6am. Finish time varies. Sometimes I’m at $250. Sometimes $300 or more by 7pm Saturday and Sunday many times end up at around $400

If I got a $1 per item I would be estatic! My area we are lucky to see .50 per item 😭 I work 7 days a week 9:30am-8:30pm (normally 8-8.5 active hours) and pull $900-$1000 per week.

I just started Instacart, I give good costumer service and I always chat with the costumers and deliver on time, once they get their order delivered they take back the tips, I think some costumers do it just to get their order accepted quickly Lot of shoppers are experiencing the same.

I cannot stand going to Costco anymore. Usually I work 5 days a week to get to around 1100. I don't multiapp. Usually I'm done very early Friday but Some weeks I get it done by Thursday, over the summer hit it by Wednesday a few times as well. So I usually go out at 7 and do grocery stores until Costco drop. If good batches come from other places I do take them though. This week I just was burnt out and half assed it. Took orders from home Monday, Tuesday, and Saturday. Still made it to 500 (only did two batches Saturday, and three on Tuesday and five Monday) I'm really considering your advice of abandoning Costco. I can't stand it there and I also can't stand the other shoppers constantly asking me what batch I got or how much my batch is. Or giving me the death stare when I walk in with a cart because they all just hang inside the store all day. Leave me alone. I feel like I'm going to throw up on my way to Costco in the morning but big batches come from there and it's a place I make a majority of my money at. But this week has shown me maybe I don't need to rely on it as much. Too much competition, too much waiting, too many nosy people

@@DarylDeliversdo you give yourself set hours during the day? Or do you just go until you hit your goal? I've been doing the latter and think I need to make myself hours and stick to that and just live with the fact I didn't hit my goal that day.

@OliverOwen1122 no I never sat and camped out at Costco or anywhere for that matter, but I did see the writing on the wall once all of the Instacart shoppers talk about the Costco drop and they’re going to the Costco drop blah blah blah. So what happens is since I never follow the herd in anything in life I always let the herd go, and I go to the other stores that I know get lots of batches and amazingly I’ll pick up big batches because they’re all shitting at Costco and they leave all the money on the table at the other stores. It’s kind of like tattoos. Everyone thinks they’re so cool and artsy and individual but they’re actually just following the herd… they all look the same to me. Nothing against Costco or tattoos, but I refuse to follow anyone or be like anyone else. It’s always worked for me and still does.

I leave my house at 6:30 or earlier and drive 20 minutes to where I like to multi app… I’m home by 7 pm. Goal $250 - $300 per day. BUT I don’t think of this as work because I like to shop and love customer service. Food delivery is what it is but Instacart and rideshare are fun jobs and keeps me active physically and personally. Remember, life is a perspective.. Two people with the same job yet one dreads the hours and eventually quits while the other doesn’t look at the clock and thrives while the time flies. Treat this as your own courier service and accept leads from 4 apps simultaneously… take the best of each and make $250 to $300 per day…😊😎I hope that helps. Daryl

The automobile is for the business. It is a business expense and treated as such on my taxes. You’re supposed to put miles on the car. Take care of the vehicle and don’t drive hard and it should last… miles are a concern but it is one of those things that I have very little control over and it is only a small factor when picking jobs…when picking a job the miles are a factor….if your regarding putting miles on my car…I don’t care…if you are referring to miles of delivery when picking a job then miles equal time so I DO care….only about the time

I agree. But many times I do see the customer. Other times I know they see me on the ring cameras but wait til I leave before opening the door….everyone is different but why try to guess who is what. Just be professional across the board!!! This is your livelihood. Take it seriously and it will take you seriously 😳…thanks for watching😊👍

Hi Daryl I got a warning from Instacart regarding picking items of low quality/incorrect items. A few items were out of stock, I substituted (customer ignored all of my substitution inquiries that I texted to them). Any suggestions? I started delivering for instacart a few wks ago, I’m still getting the hang of it 😊

I used the zip app and bought my wall charger from Best Buy. Paid $125 for 4 weeks. Once you have a home charger. You’ll only charge once a day at a supercharger

It’s never ever slow on these apps trust me after a tier level rep told me and a friend of mine these apps divert hits and orders from drivers and especially in these major cities drivers should easily be doing hundreds if not thousands a day easy in these major areas it’s all about control and controlling your earnings they give u enough to make u have to come back tomorrow
