The RF out meter on the radio display may show transmit out of band, but it actually is not. Trust the external meter, not the display.

I noticed a spacing (which I call a "decline" or "P") on your initial set of "H"s & "A"s, I'm guessing later on that's where you had gotten your "HA HA"s from. Yours is unlocked for all. All radios are the same and can easily be changed. There are no GMRS Specific versions that I have seen.

@W4EEY Another update for you Gary. My radio is also able to transmit on all of the NOAA frequencies as well. I haven't heard back from TIDRadio about this issue. When I do, I will let them know about this as well. And I will follow up with you in another e-mail. I suspect it may be a firmware update that is needed. FYI, I updated to the latest firmware prior to finding these issues out. It's currently HAM_240606. Since you have an older firmware, this may be why you are not having the issue I am. Thanks for this video! BTW, this radio is really good. It receives well. It transmits well. It sounds good. It's lightweight and small. And it's cool looking. I got the Crystal version. Very affordable and good quality. And so far, their support has been quite good.

Why are we squaring Ohm’s law values? I haven’t seen that before. Example: E=I/R has always been what I’ve seen. Now it’s E=I(2)/R? I’m not following.
