Awesome review - I would choose a Great Analogue solid state amp over a cheap Tube amp anytime ! Many dont realize that New amp speakers need some "Loud - Break in playing time " which will improve the sound - volume too !

Need help guys. Cant figure it out, i have a TRS from my exp 1 pedal which is the hotone volume tuner going through my ampero 2 stage exp 1, and output (TS) from my volume tuner pedal through the input on my amp 2 stage. I dont know if my settings in amp2stage is wrong or my cabling.

SOOO many pedals claim to be a MARSHALL in a box. This just eliminated 75% of the pedals. I have owned a few and NONE sounded like a Marshall.

The footswitch is not intuitive in terms of knowing what mode or layer you are in because they did not use led lights well. A single led per switch that changes color and or flashes?… that’s terrible, especially for us colour blind people. Sure, you can study and memorize what this or that means but you can also forget or confuse, especially in a noisy high stress environment. To make it better would also make or cost more.

Wow, being able to hear the difference in a noisy room with no walls at the NAMM show and some basic panels.. and it still improve the sound. In a real treated room with great speakers, surely the difference will be huge. One of the final puzzle pieces! I've watched enough videos at this point. I'm ordering mine tomorrow along with my new monitors. It's taken many years, but I'm finally ready to move into my studio and begin working. I designed and had it built 8 years ago, but I wasn't well and the room was rented out to someone else along with all my equipment! But now.. I'm raring to get back and give it my all!

Thanks for the video, it really helped me to decide which way to place my monitors. I don't have the vertical option, so I wasn't sure which way to place the tweeter inside or outside. I agree with you, the outside sounds best.

I know is more flexible than using the I/O of your converter as Hardware inserts , but if you are not really doing to many chains.. what is then the benefit, because The Flock is not a patchbay Converter Right? is just a Digital Patchbay ....is not better then the Antelop that can do both????
@MadSteex
@MadSteex 4 күн бұрын
The intention is to populate more with analog units :) is far easier to use than the virtual antelope patchbay

@granturismo5742 4 күн бұрын
Personally for music listening I prefer horizontal with tweeter outside. That gives wider sound stage and better instrument separation. However for mixing I would keep it vertical because that's how it is for most people.

I think 48mm at nut is still small as far as visuals go and want the nut to be the same width like the highest fret point. I am a 24 fret electric guitar player so if it is 57mm @ 24th fret it needs 2 be 57mm at nut and with a flat fretboard. Cant find anything like this so i have decided to learn how to build a guitar snd build my own.

It sounds probably as it looks like with its chassis. The midrange speaker won’t go deep enough by its size to play filthy low/midrange and the woofer which should cover this part plays sideways away from the listening position. This concept doesn’t seem promising for me.
@MadSteex
@MadSteex 8 күн бұрын
You have to tryout by yourself. The midrange is really pronounced, (for me too much in soime freqs), and the bass are really deep and precise.
