I love the way the animators implemented the characters movement during some of the segments to feel like the real game as how a player would naturally move. It gives more of a prospective of how the game and characters interact giving a sense of feeling like the video is truly Minecraft and not trying to be its own style while still not being straight up Minecraft a specially in this segment 6:29

Alright, Ya'know what? Even though no one asked, I'm just going to come right out and say that I have an idea for a potential backstory for both Norman and Stiffany- So, Stiffany was actually a human before she became a zombie and was actually best friends with Norman. But Norman's family didn't like her because they thought that she was the reason for their son acting "too soft", mainly because Stiffany was more friendly and peaceful around the monsters unlike everyone else including Norman who was too afraid of them. However, one night while human Stiffany and Norman were hanging out, they get surrounded by a bunch of mobs so they run away back home. But human Stiffany trips and falls but Norman grabs a hold of her arm before she could fall, as Norman struggles to pull up Stiffany, Norman's dad from afar takes out a crowsbow and shoots human Stiffany in the back which makes her let go and Norman watches her fall of the cliff where the zombies are and she bleeds out. Norman's dad then grabs Norman who's trying to fight back and go back for human Stiffany to save her. Only to go back home with a devestaed Norman, they then hold a funeral for human Stiffany in her memory. After the funeral Norman made a promise to always enjoy everything and do what he wants to do just like how Human Stiffany did, but it still hurts more than anything. So, he tries to mask his pain by putting on a mask where he acts like a silly lil' goofball in hopes that the pain would go away and he would have to stop wearing it. But it never does. Meanwhile with now Zombie Stiffany, the other zombies who were chasing her and Norman actually take her in as one of their own back to the zombie village where Stiffany would go on to live her new life as a zombie. This wouldn't last long however when Norman's family and other monster hunters destroyed and terrorized the zombie village in hopes of getting Norman to finally become a true monster hunter, which of course fails when Norman was supposed to kill a Zombie baby but doesn't and let's them go. Which dissiapoints Norman's family. So, The monster hunters take the rest of the surviving zombies to the mob meat grinder to extract their resources, that included Stiffany and her new zombie family. Stiffany was able to escape but she tried to save her zombie parents, but they insisted that she saves herself. Stiffany is hesitant, but she does so leaving her zombie family to die which she heavily blames herself for. Then after she escaped, eventually finds her new found family Bubbles, Dr. Bonehead and Meep later on. Although she doesn't remember her past life, and she regrets not being able to save her fellow zombies, she'll never let any human hurt her new family again... Well- Until now. Now I know that this might be a bit of a stretch and would probably not be canon at all whatsoever, but! I think that it could be a really cool idea and would add some growth to both Norman and Stiffany! I got this idea from a few scenes in this video, mainly 6:32 with Stiffany, due to how her expression looks in this scene, she looks sad yet seems like shes having a memory of something, or someone. The reason why I think that it's Norman is because of when Bonehead says: "Bubbles seems to be really warming up to that human, shame she'll be utterly crushed when he dies." So, maybe Stiffany was in that situation with Norman, and instead of Bubbles getting attached to Norman, it's Norman getting attached to Stiffany, only to be utterly crushed when she dies. ( If that makes any sort of sense at all- I think you get the idea- ) Another thing that made me think of this was when they arrived at the mob meat grinder, Stiffany looked very uncomfortable in these scenes here: 7:06 and here: 7:31 Of course this could just mean that this was a place where monsters where murdered and shes simply just afraid of it, but hey! I like to think otherwise! I'd also like to mention in this scene: 9:45 when they all hug, I noticed how Norman at first looked suprised but then felt accepted, this could mean that when he was with his family or with his fellow human/monster hunters he never felt like he belonged or cared for. And the only time when Norman felt like he belonged was when he was with human Stiffany, and now that he's met these monsters that he thought where evil, he's either now realized both how much they care about each other, and how much that he has misjudged them. Or he's remembering what it feels like to be appreciated and accepted again. Now, in this scene with Norman here: 9:16 after Bubbles falls, Norman's face looks concerned and scared, it could mean that he's concerned about Bubbles, OR that he's been in a situation like that before and he lost his own old friend? And he doesn't want that to happen again, so he figures out how to save someone that he cares about this time and not let them down by letting them die. This can also be proven with this scene: 10:31 with both Norman and Stiffany, while Norman who explains why he saved Bubbles looked like he was going to say something personal after he said: "She saved me, and- She was falling.." but he quickly put his silly mask back on to hide the hurtful memories by saying: "Ya'know I'm just- I'm just heroic like that-" and after Bubbles thanks Norman, he once again has this proud look on his face and he feels accepted and appreciated, that was something that he never got when he was with his family. And with Stiffany, she also starts having second thoughts like: "Maybe he's different" or MAYBE "Why does this feel so familar..?" But before she could get into it, she quickly dismisses it and kicks out Norman so that she doesn't go deeper into it. And in this scene: 11:31 while Stiffany is chocking out Norman, The Iron Golem proceeds to take a swing and both Bubbles and Dr. Bonehead, the look on Stiffany's face says it all, She's having flashbacks to what happened to her with her zombies family and how she failed to save them, now reliving that painful memory again but this time with Bubbles and Bonehead. This makes her freeze when she sees their bodies on the ground during this scene: 11:40 This also includes Norman who truly realizes what he's done to betray his new friends a proves Stiffany right about how he couldn't be different then the monster hunters. And after they both get knocked out and taken away by the Iron Golem in this scene: 11:55 Norman looks back at Bubbles and Bonehead and tells them that he's sorry that he's let them down and betrayed their trust. Adding onto the guilt of him not being able to save the people he cares about. But that's just a theory! A FILM THEORYYYYYYY- (I miss MatPat) Okay, I'm done rambling now- I'm so sorry if this was too long and if I maybe overthought things a little bit, but I haven't seen anyone else talk about this show and go more deeper in depth of the characters and stories, I figured that I needed to do this to show my love for this show because I mean it when I say that I am heavily OBSESSED with this show and I sincerely and geniunely want this to continue and get more episodes and not be completely abandoned and forgotten about. This show has SO much potential and I just hope to be here to see it grow and become something incredible. MOB, If you happen to be reading any of this for some reason, please don't let this die. This is, I gotta say, the best thing that I've ever seen in a long while, hell I have been watching this episode over and over again RELIGIOUSLY. I love it so much- It would be such a shame to see this gem become lost to time. I hope that you understand and thank you for taking the time to read all of this if you did. It truly means the world.
