Didn’t even realize the mug was broken 😅 Just a style note: you may want to move your subtitles/captions up a bit higher. On smaller phones in the KZbin app they are covered by things like channel name, title, etc.

@@pedrost22 Obrigada!! Eu recomendo ver todos os pontos turísticos tradicionais, que são muito lindos, e é melhor agendar algumas visitar por causa das filas (principalmente a catedral). Cuidado especial foi só mesmo o calor e sol terrível, mas em outubro acho que já vai estar melhor :) boa viagemm

While I love this concept, I’m just wondering if it’s a coping mechanism to the fact that a lot of us can afford next to nothing. Normalizing that it’s okay to use your old broken stuff. I love the eco aspect of it and realistically my grandparents would almost never buy anything new. I’m under the impression though that items had way more longevity than ours currently do. Like this creator’s whisk. Grandparents would use the one they had but it was still in full working condition. Is this finally a movement that will work against the corporations? We apparently aren’t producing enough children for them to exploit. Sorry this topic get the old brain churning 😅

I don't think this is what they meant by under consumption, especially since you have equated it with normal consumption. Girl, if your things are literally broken....the normal thing to do is to get a new one. The issue with over consumption is that people would own 12 mugs each, when really you don't need more than 1. But if your 1 wisk, 1 shelf, 1 laptop, and 1 mug is actually broken....normal consumption = you replace them.

I LOVE THIS! This is literally my fiancé and I. we just threw away an 11 year old spatula because it snapped in half…. It was tired of us 😂 we wear his shirts from 1990’s and I even have one of his shirts from 1987, my dog chewed the corner of my make up bag (it’s hard vinyl) I duck taped the corner 😂 we always think of a frugal way to solve a problem. And before we buy something we ask ourselves “do we already have this or something similar at home? Do I really need this?” People will think “oh they’re poor or broke” in reality it’s the complete opposite. I love it ❤
