Did you accidently lose the prompt, A Book by an Author You Never Read Before, just so you could pick the book you really wanted instead? Who writes the prompts? TBH, I couldn't do that as I never know what I'll be in the mood for after I finish the two (real and audio) that I'm reading at the moment. Often I just stand in my two rooms and look at the titles until one jumps out at me. I'm currently re-listening to the Caravale series because a special book with pictures was released for Christmas, so I had to pre-order and it came in and the cover is as fab as the others. And I'm reading Me and Mr. Jones because I met David Bowie and his wife, Angie, so I probably met Suzi Ronson who wrote this autobio. (I am amazed that we are so mentally alike, although the groups I worked for were The Who and Rod Stewart and the Faces, so a generation apart. However, I was never involved sexually with any of them, so her journey is a bit different. And she married Mick who was one of my top pin-ups back then.) Love your doggy and he sure loves you. Cats eating and dogs enjoying a chew are never annoying for some reason. Great ASMR.

Love ur vids.I would like some recomendation on mystry,crime,fantasy books and some book series as I want to start reading.I am also 13 so I just wanna know if its okay for me to buy and read 'a good girls guide to murder'
@ShannonsReads10 күн бұрын
Thank you! A good girls guide to murder is definitely okay for you to read, it’s considered a ya series. I’m not super adversed in that genre but the inheritance games series, the naturals series, one of us is lying, the truly devious series, and the jane austen murder mystery series

right, dose it make me emotionless because the first book didn't really make me cry. it was weird for me to see someone cry at the fact harry saw his family in the mirror as reading for the first time myself i almost thought that was gonna happen anyway. the early chapter's of the philosophers stone (i'm from the UK) bang on about how much harry didn't know his parents and stuff like that behind the fact that of us the reader is getting into the wizard-ing world for the first time and learning the basic's of the rules in which is in it. harry is introduced to the likes of the weaseyls and Hagrid to give him more of a family dynamic. i guess i was just expecting that he see's his mum and dad in the mirror

It Ends with Us is a great read. The DV isn't super graphic or anything. :) And I HATED Wicked (the book - the broadway show is my favorite ... but the book was too ... weird. lol)

Sorcerers? It's philosophers' stone.
@ShannonsReads5 ай бұрын
I think it’s a US thing because I’ve only ever seen “sorcerers stone” on us movies and books
@JungleOfMeat5 ай бұрын
@ShannonsReads yeah it's an ongoing joke. Americans got changed to Sorcerers because philosophers is too much of an intelligent word for them. Basically they dumbed the title down so Americans would read the book

Sirius Black is also my favorite Character! I think that Sirius is a very sweet, loyal, brave, kind and all around wonderful character! He is also a very handsome young Wizard who looks amazing in anything. Except those Azkaban robes. That was not a good look for our beloved Sirius Black!
@extraHERO4 ай бұрын
I remember where I was when I first read Sirius' death. I was washing clothes at the laundry room at LSUS college and I felt so alone like "How is no one around me reacting to the fact that we lost a real one." In modern Taylor parlance I was "Down bad, crying at the gym, Everything came out teenage petulance, fuck it if I can't have him"
