Any chance you have this arrangement written out? It’s beautiful
@randaltomasallo4 ай бұрын
Thanks much. My first exposure to the tune was playing it in the context of a big band arrangement, in the 1970's. In later years I heard other versions and also saw it in the form of a lead sheet in fake books. Like many tunes I play, the harmonies I use are often an amalgam of the many versions of the tune I've heard and/or played with different people/bands. Feel free to transcribe what I played.

Thanks much for listening. A quality electric with good piano action is a step in the right direction. Now save up for an acoustic, even if it's down the road. Electric instruments will always be auxiliary instruments. Only acoustic instruments offer the complete array of tonal complexities and richness, and are always preferable for learning...

What sheet music do you use?
@randaltomasallo5 ай бұрын
Some tunes I learned playing with bands. Others I learned from listening to recordings. Finally, there are published books, or compilations of tunes. These "fake" books have the melody and chords and sometimes the lyrics.
