how many miles can you get on a tank of fuel?
@DWidrickAdventures3 ай бұрын
I put an IMS 3.5-gallon tank on it, and the longest ride I've done is 73 miles of rough gnarly single track, without hitting reserve. If I had to guess, I'd say probably in the 90 miles range.

Are you using the track it forward app, I think that's the name of it. It is through NMA were you log the amount of trees you cut? That helps them to get funding for the awesome trail maintenance that they do. Plus you get complimentary membership and a calendar every year.

How you liking the new Race Edition? Still on my 17’ RR but eyeballing the 200 Race Edition. Great video man! After watching, realized I’ve been riding way too much on my 690 Enduro….time to hit some single track!!! Thanks for the video!

Honestly, I love it. Handles really good on all terrain, lugs like a tractor and will explode with power when you want it to. I have a 23 200 race also and its super nimble, light and fun too, but I like the all-around power of the 300 and with the new design it feels just as nimble, or even more nimble than the 200! Thanks for the comment and I'm glad you enjoyed the video!

@@DWidrickAdventures Thanks for the reply! Good info. I’m 48 and my buddies insist on 300’s at our age but I’m a glutton for punishment! 300 is definitely the way to go in the PNW but I need a better workout as I tend to do too many 12oz curls.

7:09 GoPros love to overheat! Thanks for cutting the tree back off the trail a ways, instead of leaving it so close to the trail that people can hit it. A big group that does a lot of trail clearing up there always has a big discussion about it every year. They do it to match the USFS standard, which is to cut it several feet back from the centerline of the trail on both sides.

Killer drone shots. What drone are you using? Active track in the first sequence? My older Mavic Air would lose me behind those trees.
@DWidrickAdventures5 ай бұрын
I'm using a DJI Mini 4 Pro. The active track works pretty well as long as you aren't hidden for too long, but generally it keeps a good track of you. I have had it lose me a couple times though lol. Fits in my bag really nicely, real small and compact.

@DWidrickAdventures5 ай бұрын
I ride a 2023 200 with an RK Tek head also, so I made the jump just like you're thinking about. Honestly, I don't feel much weight difference but almost more agile because I can turn sharper and maneuver easier. I love the 300 and I think you would too, coming from the same bikes.
