We usually fill the palacinke with jam or sweet cheese. That is how my mother and her mother made it in their part of Croatia.

I’m from Olib a small island on the Adriatic close to zadar. Our recipe has no soda but we do add a few tablespoons of oil, vanilla and milk and water and pinch of salt and some sugar. I typically left the mixture rest for a few hrs. You’re son is adorable.

awesome little helper you got there! Saša great job. no lemon in our recipe but get where you are going with it. Palačinke look great, my first one is always a dud lol
