I have the same exact motor for quite some time now. Once you get a better pipe, it's gonna get up anny hill no pedalling. I only moded my pipe slightly and that made it take me places ive never been before. It just went everywhere like nothing. Like a slow dirtbike. I never had it running rough when i fully broke it in and opened up the pipe a bit. Now i have a mz65 clone pipe and a 36 tooth sprocket so it's not a climber anymore but it's better for road and further distances. I need to build another bike with the same motor purely for terrain and hilly riding.

You look handy with a welder. Actually those are great little carburetors. The needle and seat can be problematic when you fill your gas tank to the top. If you have flooding, turn off your fuel valve, mine has the push button to drain the bowl, then rigorously bounce your back tire a few inches from the ground to give it a good shock. This will often free the needle and seat so you don't have remove it. Also, I don't know why these kits come with an air filter. They won't run right with those on there. Nice bike build.
@matthewworkshop53713 ай бұрын
Thank you I’ll try removing air cover. I was curious about that. Definitely play around with the curb and see what I can do but I really do want to buy an upgraded carb.

@@matthewworkshop5371 Many on YT say some of the speed carbs are not worth it. I would look at brake upgrades. I had a coaster brake until I twisted my axle one day when a car pulled out in front of me.

Sounds like it's too lean in gasoline, are you mixing the gas and oil @ 16 to 1? Use less oil @ 32 to 1. That Wooaaaah woooaaahh sound means there's not enough fuel and the oil doesn't help when it's this heavy a premix. Use good synthetic like Lucas and don't use E10 gas. Non ethanol is better.
@matthewworkshop53713 ай бұрын
I'm running it at a 20:1 mix with non-ethanol gas the spark plug looks clean not the chocolate brown color it's supposed to be I am pretty sure it is the carburetor it's not allowing the motor to run properly the oil to gas ratio is what the specifications online on their website said so I was just running with what they were telling people to do

Don't make excuses to help people's feelings. Some people will die on a hill for their perception. I made a video showing the effects of recycling air in a car with the AC on, and some people didn't believe me! The numbers were jumping, but they were jumping higher at higher RPMs. These engines are fine running at factory high RPMs (as long as you keep up on maintenance), it does run hotter but uses more gas. Just post the numbers, and roll with it. My video on car emissions with the AC on: kzbin.info/www/bejne/nZano3icq5WYgtU

I will say that with the higher RPM's we've ran are tractor on high for 6 years and its fine it's an engine the higher the better Grass cut.
@WeSRT43 ай бұрын
Meh... these small air cooled engines are designed to run a "full throttle" Keep in mind the engine is essentially governed down to where they are meant to operate.
@sanfordrouse3 ай бұрын
Higher rpms actually moves more air across the fins to keep it cool. Lower rpms is less harsh on engine but loses cooling. Note always keep the fins clean from dust and grass build up which would make it run hot. Mowing at full throttle it matches blade tip for less stress on engine. Especially mowing thick grass. Keep up the good work👍
