Would you be willing to review Camelot Cinema from the Brown Album? It’s actually a different drummer real name Brian but they called him Brain. Just listen to the opening drum solo of that song. So unique and gets you pumped up!

LOL...the problem with trying to play or break down Brian Chippendale is that Brian Chippendale literally does not know how to play the drums. He just plays them. He's famously been called "the best worst drummer"

I realize that this video is from three years ago. It just popped up on my feed today. I’m guessing that other folks might have mentioned that Trey likes to play drums too by now. You sounded like an ass when you claimed that he tried to put Fish to the test with something that a guitar player dreamed up.

Weckl has good hands. But he is mainly playing soft fusion style. No high volumes here. I would like to see him what he can give out in some more loud settings. And I was a member of his online school. Sry to say that was total crap. For 40 bucks a month he was showing how to setup a kit etc etc. No real useful pdf's exercise etc. And he was teaching Moeller. Well great.

Awesome as always Steve! The guitar player ( Andrew in my band) is a regular sub for Megadeath. He once drove all the way from Toronto to Seattle, (not an easy drive) to play with them. He subs as needed but doesn’t fly, lol so only North American shows

I skipped their show, they did come thru Indy. I'm a big fan of Mudvayne but Chad is definitely paying for his early singing sins. Voice isn't there anymore. Just saw Manson recently and he sounded better than the early 00s

We're going to see Jackyl in Maryville, TN this Saturday... Saw em last year there.. it was a blast! Bring a chair if you're coming.. it's at the Shed at Smoky Mountain Harley-Davidson.. and seating is whatever you bring. Sometimes those smaller venues are more fun! Best MetallicA show I've ever seen was at the Lee County Civic Center... I could've thrown a paper airplane on the stage... From a seat. 😮

I saw them play on Saturday in Nashville! It was a great show! Not my first Megadeth show, nor do I expect it to be my last. I had to crack a smile when they played Mechanix... LOL. I was on the floor... Was a great venue. The only issue was being the last show of the tour, they were out of my shirt sizes. 😢 I got a kick out of them cutting the floor wristbands off after a crowd surfer landed on the other side of the security barrier. We got to the show after All That Remains had played, but caught most of Mudvayne (from the snack area 😂) and were well prepared for Megadeth. Love the drummer and guitarist... One's from Belgium the other from Finland, from what I've gathered. Both kicked ass.

Been listening to Phish a bunch for the first time in 20yrs, and am realizing I’ve totally taken Fish for granted. I know zilch about the technical aspect, but he just seems to facilitate what Phish IS. Like….. that’s a lot. Trey is the leader, but Fish allows them to make the magic. Full stop.

What is people's issue with a backwards hat? It's like the 4th or 5th time this week that I've heard that whole "grown man with a backward hat" crap. (1) How someone dresses is NOT your concern. You are NOT their judge and jury. (2) How someone dresses doesn't change who they are as a person, and in many cases, it also doesn't tell you they are any certain type of person. (3) Anybody judging another person's choice in style while uttering the phrase "grow up" is only showing that they, themselves, are not even grown up. (4) I all reality, the only people who give a shit about your opinion of another person's style are people who are as judgemental and insecure as you. And that shows insecurity, because if you're truly secure about your own look, then someone else's look shouldn't bother you in any way, and you shouldn't think, "oh hey that look makes them look childish." Because it really doesn't. (5: BONUS:) Wearing a hat backwards prevents the sun from burning the back of my neck, when I need the bill in that angle. I also shoot pool, and when shooting, the bill gets in my way, and I will turn it backwards. When I am bowling, it's the same. I need the bill out of my face. But...randomly walking around the bar, I may have it forward OR backwards. Oh. BTW. I'm 43. Hi. I'm a grown man who wears hats backwards, at times, and I'm still no less of a man. And anybody who wants to think otherwise can come find me and try to prove me otherwise. \m/ :) \m/ Ted talk sponsored by a normal human who is tired of societal idiocy.

I don't think the social media phenoms discourage anyone. New students are inspired by what they hear from all kinds of sources. Initially a new student can't play anything and they have no concept of what is "unplayable". Which is perfect. They figure out their own path by starting from zero and learning what they can and cannot do. If they have the passion they will find their own style and run with it. If they quit because they cannot play like their hero(s), then they missed the point or it isn't really their passion and they move on. My guess is that the social media drummers are simply reaching more people, thus greatly increasing the pool of new drummers. I also believe that this results in a greater percentage of new students that fall into the category of "drumming curious" vs "drumming passionate". The total volume of new drummers has increased, but the number of drummers that stick it out stays relatively steady. Just a thought.
