I loved Gus Van Sant's film; it is undeservedly hated. Please do that one next!

Always thought this movie was crap, I was very wrong. It's bats--t crazy and it really calls back to the old master Hitchcock. Thanks for an entertaining video.

I didn't really have a problem with Roger Moores age but i did have a problem with the fact its not referenced in the movie. Giving the story more of a retirement element along with an older leading lady would have improved its reception with critics and the public...

T2 is great don’t get me wrong but the original was truly groundbreaking. It was so unique and with such a limited budget did a lot with not a ton of $. One of the pillars of 1980s cinema.

The Phantom is my favourite comic character & one of my favourite films. The 1930s setting is one of the things I love about it, same as the 1st 2 Indiana Jones movies. (Yes, the Last Crusade is also set in the 1930s, but I didn't enjoy it much.)

I still rewatch this yearly along with its not much loved 05 remake. I own it on multiple formats at this point. Not sure about the announcement of another as I truly did like the earlier remake and felt it added to the story with the cast alone imho. I think it would work better as a long form series which would give time to really flesh out a lot of the ancillary characters and stories. Too much material for even a 3 hour film, though both prior films did a decent job I feel.

I'm going through a rough time right now, and fell down the rabbit hole of your retrospectives. It's providing a great distraction, and I can't imagine the amount of hours put into them. They're very well made. Fantastic work. As far as Resurrection goes, I actually saw it twice in theaters, once alone and again with a date. I remember the gritty mall theater I frequented during the screening being completely drenched with the smell of weed. I'm no prude, but don't partake. So yeah, this movie reminds me of the smell of reefer and popcorn. I wish I picked a better flick to say I've seen twice on the big screen, but enjoyed it at the time. I appreciate Rick's initiative in trying to get different endings on different reels. Very ambitious. Definitely towards the bottom of my personal ranking, but a ridiculous, kinda guilty pleasure watch if the mood strikes me.

Rick's different ending thing wouldn't have made sense because there needs to be an official ending that could be on the DVD, be aired on television, later streaming, etc. like what about all that?

It's surprising that a guy who admitted he did a lot of acid would get the Terminator idea from a "fever dream" 😂

Terminator 1 is the 2nd best Terminator movie, but seeing as only 2 terminator movies have been made, I suppose that makes it the worst in the series... As for whod play Termie in a remake? No one... please for the love of all that is holy do not touch this movie...

It disturbs me that the story seems to be a metaphor for academic civilized culture portrayed as a gay pedophile cult, with a lot of assist from a possibly Jewish family.

If Beth Armstrong new, how dangerous killer whales really are. She would not have done any of those scenes. Of course back then. We didn't realize but I'm pretty sure. If she saw the documentary blackfish, she would have changed her tune

This was the first one I ever saw. Never forget it, 5th grade, 1987, in my friends basement we were having a slumber party, and stayed up all night watching slashers. This one, part 5, and nightmare 2. His parents were cool and didn’t care about us watching rated R movies. This one will always be my fav, for nostalgia and for Jason’s creepy one eyed sack.

While not one of the best, Wolf (1994) is a fun awesome entertaining werewolf film. In my opinion, Wolf (1994) is my seventh favorite modern monster film after Bram Stoker’s Dracula, The Mummy (1999), The Invisible Man (2020), Van Helsing, The Mummy Returns, and Hollow Man.

This was the first Halloween movie that I saw in the theater. For that reason, it will always have a special place in my heart. I was 11 at the time and already a huge horror fan. We all know it didn't have a big budget. But I still can't imagine any scenario whatsoever, where someone was "too tired" to realize the pink mask with blonde hair didn't belong in the scene. 😂

Honestly, in terms of family feeling, I get that. Until nowadays I prefer this ridiculous sequence than Jaws 3 and the music is great.
