My late wife and I were guests at a pre-release concert at Birmingham Odeon. It was an amazing gig and we got to meet the band including Steve's mum who was the most warm, gentle and engaging person. We later moved on to the Holiday Inn for hospitality where the evening took a dive when our host John Shearer got up and left taking two women up to his room and never returned leaving us alone feeling very disappointed. Things like that kind of stick with you. Great gig though Steve, still have the complementary album courtesy of Charisma..

Big big train is coming to canada for the first time ever. But like Mr. Phillips I don't like big venues. I just want to mention an outlet for Mr. Phillips. One day in my driveway a guy showed up with a wooden leg. "Squeezin Steve" was the name of his CD that he was selling door to door. I'm not much for accordion but I liked his moxy and bought it. I think going door to door is an outlet Anthony may have missed:) If he shows up in my driveway I'd certainly buy one of his CD's:)

Blimming brilliant feature! I remember borrowing Foxtrot from an older co-worker when I was 16 or 17. The record was 5 or 6 years old by then and when you're that age, anything older than a year or so is considered O-L-D, but right from the opening chords of "Watcher" I was mesmerized. It took me a couple of listens to work out what the guitar was doing, it was so ethereal and strange, but I rapidly became a major fan of Steve (and Genesis of course) and only really lost some interest in the 90s which for me was not a good period (ymmv). Fantastic player and a lovely guy to me on the occasions I met him.

In a fan event, Tony wants that Peter banks join to the band, but Steve Howe didn't allowed. Steve Howe, to me, is the vilain of the band.

tony is one of the responsables of the concept of the sound of Yes for many eyars, and the 3 first albuns were superb. the rick fans need to be more respect for Tony Kaye.

It might be time for a complete shakedown of yes in 2024-2026. A possible new yes album without Howe, produced by a fresh new spirit and view... Paided session musicians including Moraz, Horn, Brislin, kaye, Rabin, Benniot, Wakeman, Anderson, Davidson, Sherwood and unused drum & percussion tracks of Bruford &White. A well needed "shock to the system" in the realm of all things YES. Perpetual changes are in need in the shifting tides of the topographic ocean.❤

I may have already commented on this. This is just so beautiful and brilliant. I think we can all resonate with the lyrics to this song in our personal lives. Her work with the fantastic guitarist that is Steve Hackett is just sublime.

Where is Yes from yesterday? I don't see any video's of the early eal Yes. All the power to you if you like the current version, but they should have a disclaimer when they advertise themselves. Please be aware this version of Yes only includes one member.
