I remember watching the movie based on the life Freddie Prince Sr. , & I heard this song I cried when Kevin Hooks was trying to help him break his cocaine habit, but unfortunately he, or everyone else. Until that unfortunate day when Freddie took his life 😢

This music right here needs to come back. I mean there’s some Rap music I like but never will it ever compare to this. Plus I like seeing a complete band, not one dude Rapping and holding his crotch while another dude is spinning records

I know most think the Fez is a reference to a condom. Maybe it's a reference to, you can't succeed in the modern entertainment industry without connections.
@TheUprightLuthier-19592 жыл бұрын
This video is about the condoms 3:47 , the heartbreak of the boy-girl relationship, and the consequences: the baby in a crib 3:43. Buy them at the drugstore. I imagine both girls are crying because they just found out they're pregnant. BUT. The song may or may not be about condoms. It is clearly about wearing something called a fez during sex. If it's wearing the hat on your head, that's pretty cool too.

@@TheUprightLuthier-1959 There seems to be references to masonic teachings throughout Steely's music. Steely Dan itself is a phallic reference, check out the album covers. I'm not trying to say anything negative about the band. The majority of the fraternity have no part in a grand conspiracy, though it is playing out right now. We must tell them to f#^k off. As biblically noted, there is a time for everything, as well as killing.

It's sad to think Townsend's beautiful Rickenbacker probably met a violent, smashing death. All the classic guitars he destroyed...

According to his autobiography this and a number of other different songs were recorded while he was hold up in Toronto for his drug bust. His agent wanted to get as much recorded as possible in case he was sent to jail.
