We have many videos about Combat Arms on KZbin with thousands of comments from people sharing their good memories, but nobody with the skills to make a video game make a similar game. I was ranked 47, about two decades ago, when I rage uninstalled this game because of the hackers, when the game was about to beat Counter-Strike. I always hated the hackers and now I hate the kernel-level anti-cheats. I can't play any FPS because they all use a kernel-level garbage, instead of making a server-side anti-cheat but I think if anybody would make a similar game as Combat Arms, WITH CAPTURE THE FLAGS and another mode for zone controls, with no cheaters, not pay to win and with enough people playing, MAYBE I would play it even with a kernel-level anti-cheat. MAYBE. I'm sick of not playing a FPS, especially a capture the flags, and in little maps (I dislike the "battlefield" maps, it's too big, we can't do any teamplay in these, it's too much free for all). I just installed Unreal Tournament 3. I go check if I can run it still in 2024... I go kill bots and capture some flags...

Sadly the movement mechanics in CA are just unique and are not to be found elsewhere..

I mean if multiplayer doesn't get added, mods will probably do so multiplayer will b a thing in this game

Hi Bryan good to see you doing well and good overview of the game. I think the reason why this ideal game we always talk about does not happen because there isnt a demand for it. I think a good test would be to port gorilla tag to pc and see how many people pick it up

I used to play this game a lot. First fps I fell in love with. From the " multi-kill, uktrakill, unbelievable, unbelievable " or the "nutshot" to the zombies mode, to that one mode that was kinda like a story mode but with other players, the cod zombies mode. Now I went to try and download the game again and it doesn't even load. Sad to see such a great game die like this

Yk, god damn this game is still same. I was just remembering the old days and i wanted to know what happened to this game and here i am lol. I was around 12 yo or less when i played this game, I would join the tourneys our internet Cafe makes, sneakily purchase stuff and a lot of fun things but now there is no game like this and i really want to play combat arms again but man they deleted the accounts and shits i don't wanna be newbie without equipments to fuck with the zombies. I was really good back in the days. Damn i feel old lmao

I-tag was my call sign, and a second noahbody, played a ton I remember the day that TT Digital (My clan Leader) smoked Greatfuldead for for first place overall it caused quite stir in the community, I have 6 kids so this game cost me a ton of money even though it was "free to play" Orthos for the win!!! i had 7 platinum accounts all told. im now almost 55 and just bought Grey Zone Warfare. haven't played yet. life and 6 grand babies gets in the way.

The game died because we all got our accounts fucking deleted.

I loved the game as a kid, it was so good. Zombie mode and Clan Wars were amazing and getting an unbelivable+ felt really satisfying. Shame they destroyed the game with their greed and bad decisions.
