@RayandSandysWoodworking awesome. For any end grain..I coat with glue then dry for 5 minutes and recoat with glue before assembly.

I’ve been doing this for about 30 years and not one time in my life. Have I ever seen anyone do anything like this?. not really too sure what to make of this heap of a mess. This just dose not look safe at all.

@ And don’t get me wrong just because I’ve been doing this for 30 years doesn’t mean I have seen it all obviously I haven’t seen it all and there are different ways of doing things. I do agree with that. I just don’t wanna see you hurting yourself. So yeah, make a better jig and I think you’ll be fine. You could do it with a table saw and I only recommend that if you have a lot of use experience.

There's an excellent video on table saw safety by Fine Woodworking that addresses the problem you were having. It's at the very end of the video, shown briefly around the 20 minute mark. Search Fine Woodworking stop doing this on the table saw. Stumpy nubs also has excellent table saw safety videos and how to safely make raised panels. I hope this helps somebody.
