What if you have a 30 amp camper and a 30 amp pole or 120 plug on a 2200 generator? Can I plug this unit into my 2200 champion dule fuel generator?

Thanks for watching. Yes you can. All you do is use an adapter to pair it down to the 110v 12 or 20 amp plug

Can the ramp be suspended to use as a patio?
@TheAirForceGuy
@TheAirForceGuy Күн бұрын
Not from the factory. I’ve seen people use 2 x 12’s with carpet in them and cider blocks to use as a patio on regular size toy haulers. These are much smaller ramps. Not sure you can add a railing system to it.

They are on the right track. It should be a large rear bathroom. A Cruise Master independent suspension. A better off grid AC. Hopefully no wood in the floor. Then I would buy it.
@TheAirForceGuy
@TheAirForceGuy 3 күн бұрын
You may want to look at Encore RV's. They do not use wood, have independent suspension options and 12v A/C options. What holds them back is they cost much more than others because of the way they build them.

You can also use a 4'-5' length of hose, turn off the water, put gloves on, cover the hole on the end of the hose with your thumb, and push the length of hose down into the toilet (hose is a bit more flexible in case you have a bend in the drain) until you feel where the sludge has accumulated and then stir it around until it breaks up and goes down the drain. I just had this happen in my RV. This can be prevented by keeping your black (and grey) tank closed and using MORE water when you flush, let the waste accumulate in the black tank until about 2/3 to 3/4 full, (it helps to use an RV toilet enzyme treatment to break down the solids and take care of any smell), after the sludge has released in the toilet, turn the water back on to thoroughly rinse the toilet drain, open the black tank release and let it go down the sewer, close the black tank, then open the gray tank to flush the sewer hose, then close them back up and let them refill. We tend to try and preserve water when not hooked to a source, but this is one area where it's important to flush with enough water. If the black tank release is left open, the water rushes out leaving the solid waste behind where it can accumulate, compact, and plug the toilet.
@TheAirForceGuy
@TheAirForceGuy 11 күн бұрын
If I had the swivel stick, it would have cleared this up in seconds. I never use the black tank rinse anymore…. The issue was the previous owner must have left the black tank valve open while using the camper. Our shop had to clear the rest of the shit 💩 mound when I brought it back to the dealership.

I had a 2008 Sunline Que. The entire axle assembly broke free from the frame as I was exiting 95 South in North Carolina. The accident happen as I applied the brakes entering the off ramp to slow down my speed. On Sunline forum there were other owners that had the same issue. I then bought a 2016 Forest River Coachman Clipper 17 foot front queen. From day one the leaf spring shackles hit the frame with minimal items in storage and this was an issue that other owners of the same trailer had noticed and took pictures of. I ended up following what someone else had done to modify the trailer, which was to upgrade the leaf springs and place the axle assembly under the leaf springs and add a two step entry step to adjust for the added height of the trailer. Also added shock absorbers to the axle assembly to dampen the bounce. The design of these trailers is for light weight which translates as material that is cheaply made. My wife would like to purchase a bigger trailer but after watching Lize Amazing youtube videos and my own experience with the travel trailer industry I do not want to buy junk anymore. I am a DIY type of person but having to deal with this stuff is a real headache. Going down the road at 60 mph to 65mph to not keep up with traffic but not be a hazard on the road with a poorly built trailer is a real challenge. I enjoy going RVing but even RV repair guys who make a living fixing them are aware of the build quality. I hope the industry changes for the better. It would have many more satisfied customers.

Do a lot of boondocking in the Smokys at campgrounds without power or water. I HAVE to HAVE a working refrigerator to keep my wife's insulin cold and Ice out of the freezer for ice chest coolers for day trips. I have a similar Norcold N7 that was shown in Air Force Guy's video. Mine came in a 2018 Venture Sonic and needed a new mother circut board at delivery. But it has worked flawlessly since 2018 after Lazy Days repaired it and checked everything else before delivery. I recently had another problem with the gas NOT relighting after the initial changeover to gas and the fridge not relighting. It worked perfectly on AC-110 but I could not isolate the problem with gas and decided from multiple forums it had to the be either the Mother Circut Board or a combined problem with the gas train and igniter. All forums say that if the unit isn't leaking sulfer and works correctly on either AC or gas that the unit is worth repairing so I ordered a new mother board, a gas train unit including igniter. and new thermistor. I replaced all three at the same time for under $300 and it's back to working perfectly. Don't know which of the three was bad and don't care. Getting an appointment at an RV center is about 6 weeks at best and the diagnostics and parts cost would have probably been twice what I paid to replace all three of the main components myself that are most likely to fail. If you're handy and have basic tools what I did is the only way to go. Good luck.

It's all about Cost. The more things they make standard the higher the cost. Also, not everyone wants Solar panels, inverters or Lithium batteries. Well I'm disappointed that there isn't more counter space in the kitchen. I'm afraid I do not like the floor. And I'd much rather have a loveseat rather than the recliner chairs. I don't like the cup holders between the seats. And honestly that small oven that they insist on putting in is not worth cooking in. You're going to replace the one in our rig and we're also going to increase the size of the refrigerator. We have one of the original Grand designs
@TheAirForceGuy
@TheAirForceGuy Ай бұрын
Thanks for watching. The counter space has always been this size since this floor plan came out. Unfortunately, for a camper under 30' there is only so much room. Not sure what would be deleted to give it more counter space. There is an option for a tri-fold sofa in place of the recliners for people that want it . Yes these ovens have always been too small and most people don't like them either.
