@@rolandcampos2338 If you don't use a drop clutch, then you'll just have to use a regular clutch. Your hi-hat will then just stay open while you play double bass.

you didnt show the install of HH controller?
@drummereub10 күн бұрын
@behaviorman1 You're right, I didn’t show the hi-hat controller installation. Here’s a quick explanation: Connect the Controller Cable: Locate the input jack labeled for the hi-hat controller on your drum module. Plug one end of the cable into the module and the other into the hi-hat controller port. Position the Pedal: Place the hi-hat controller pedal in a comfortable spot, usually to the left of your bass drum pedal. Calibrate (if needed): On some drum modules, you’ll need to calibrate the hi-hat pedal. Check your module’s settings for a calibration menu, and follow the steps to set the open and closed positions. Test the Response: Play the hi-hat to make sure it’s responding properly when you press and release the pedal. Adjust sensitivity or calibration as needed in the module settings.

How to connect to airpods?
@drummereub29 күн бұрын
@shubhamkhandelwal5083 To connect AirPods to a drum module, follow these steps: Check if your drum module has Bluetooth audio support: Some drum modules support Bluetooth audio output. If it does, enable Bluetooth on the module. Pair your AirPods: Put your AirPods in pairing mode (open the case, press and hold the button until the light flashes white). Connect through the drum module: On the module, go to the Bluetooth settings, search for devices, and select your AirPods. ⚠ Note: Many drum modules have a slight delay (latency) when using Bluetooth, which can affect timing while playing. For zero latency, using wired headphones or a Bluetooth transmitter with low-latency support might be better.

I only have one bass drum, but a double pedal setup, I set it up the same way, the non rotatable legs just sitting over the other pedal a little in the way.

so is there 3 springs on the pedals or 2? on mine there's 2 springs on right pedal and one on left. can I take the left one off on left pedal? thanks for any advice
@drummereub2 ай бұрын
@JaBridgewater13 Both springs should be on the right (main) pedal. The left (slave) pedal doesn’t need its own spring, as it relies on the linkage connecting it to the main pedal for tension and responsiveness. Removing a spring from the right pedal could cause issues with performance. The extra spring on your left pedal is probably there so you can convert it into a standalone single pedal if needed. If you’re using it as part of the double pedal setup, you can remove that spring without any issues.

doenst work on my Roland e drum and mapex tiwns.. they keep going off. clap doenst bite the pedals metal bracket very good =(
@drummereub2 ай бұрын
It sounds like your Roland e-drum and Mapex twin pedal setup might be having trouble with the clamp alignment. If the clamp isn’t gripping the pedal’s metal bracket tightly, it could be a few things: Clamp Adjustment: Check if the clamp mechanism on the e-drum module is fully adjustable. Some models allow you to fine-tune the tightness, which helps it grip better. Make sure to align it straight with the pedal bracket for the most stable fit. Rubber Grip Issue: If the clamp has a rubber grip that’s worn out, it might not hold as tightly. You can sometimes add a thin piece of rubber or non-slip tape on the bracket to help it bite better. Compatibility: Some Roland modules have clamps designed for single pedals and might not fully hold twin pedals in place. You could try swapping to a more universal pedal clamp if that’s an option on your e-drum module. Add Padding: If you’re using a traditional clamp, adding a small strip of fabric or padding inside the clamp could help it grip the pedal bracket more effectively. Let me know if you've tried these or if you’re seeing something specific happen when you play!

Any advice for getting the footboards for the DW3000 hihat and double kick pedal to be at the same angle? My hihat is significantly lower than the left kick and they can’t be played cleanly at the same time.
@drummereub4 ай бұрын
To align the footboards of your DW 3000 hi-hat and double kick pedal, here are a few things you can try: Adjust the Hi-Hat Pedal Tension: The DW 3000 hi-hat stand has a tension adjustment, which can make the pedal feel stiffer or looser. Tightening the tension might raise the pedal closer to the angle of your left kick. Change Footboard Heights: The DW 3000 double pedal has an adjustment feature for the footboard angle. You can use a drum key to adjust the angle of the footboard by loosening the screws and then adjusting the angle until it matches the hi-hat pedal more closely. Adjusting the beater angle and spring tension of the left kick pedal can help bring the footboard in line with the hi-hat. Positioning and Placement: Slightly adjust the placement of your pedals. If your left kick pedal is placed a little farther or closer to you, it may naturally align better with the hi-hat pedal. By fine-tuning these settings, you should be able to get the footboards more aligned and improve your playing. Keep testing and tweaking until it feels comfortable!

Thanks for the quick reply! I will try tweaking the kick pedal. Would definitely prefer the hihat coming up to meet the kick angle, but I’ll take what I can get!

I BOUGHT A USED DONNER DED70. IT DID NOT COME WITH AN AC ADAPTOR BUT I THINK I NEED ONE. THE SELLER TOLD ME TO USE THE USB CORD.
@drummereub4 ай бұрын
Glad to hear you got the Donner DED-70! 🎶 The USB cord can power it if you're connecting to a computer or a USB power source, but for consistent power and reliability, especially during longer sessions, an AC adapter is definitely recommended. You can check the manual or contact Donner for the exact specs, but usually, it's a 9V adapter. Hope this helps!

Hey! I want to buy another bass pedal to build my own double pedal, but can different pedals become a double? Or I need to buy the same brand? Nice video!
@drummereub4 ай бұрын
Thank you for the kind words! As for your question, it is possible to mix different pedals to build your own double pedal, but it can be tricky. The key is to make sure the pedals are compatible in terms of size and how they connect. Ideally, using the same brand ensures smoother integration, but if you're set on mixing brands, make sure the drive shaft (the bar that links the pedals) works with both. It might take a bit of trial and error, but with the right adjustments, it can definitely work. Good luck with your setup!

My problem is with my Pearl Excalibur the left pedal is hitting metal to metal on the round nut directly below it, attached to the base. I adjusted the chain back a little but it lost its sound. Is there another way to stop the collision of the pedal to the bass
@drummereub5 ай бұрын
I am not familiar with a Pearl Excalibur pedal. Never heard of it! However, on most pedals there are adjustments that would help with the issue you described. Usually it would be a pedal height, and/or beater angle adjustment.

What many people don’t realise is that it’s relatively easy to remove the folding legs from a standard hi hat stand. The one on your video 0.53 has a grub screw holding the stirrup which can be removed and the legs slid off.
