You keep attracting the deer no matter where you ride on this trip. Stupid tourist walking so close to the Elk. Dumb dumb humans. Music went well with this scenery.

The drone shot around the dam/reservoir was very impressive. I wonder if the SUV off the road had tried to avoid was of those 4 legged critters and wasn't as lucky as you where during your brief encounter? Like they say, if you can't be good be lucky! haha.
@KarlB

Thanks! The SUV recovery may have been deer or adult beverage related. That or something else, as my dad likes to say. I wanted to fly through the notch but had no sense of its size, 2' or 20' across, so I wimped out and went above it.

Was it ever explained what happened? Did he suddenly lose grip on the left toggle? You can see his left arm jerk back and the tail flattens out, he starts veering off to the right and then reaches back up, but it was too late to flare before he hit the ground. Hope he's doing okay

Nice video. Those goats in the parking lot were licking salt from the undercarriage of the car, since it is rarely found in nature up there. The big horn sheep ewes that went up to the car on the road were looking for a hand out because people rarely practice " don't feed the animals" Colorado has become so woke about everything, it's crazy. Even the older Indians ( native americans) find it silly to change the names of places so as to not offend the younger generations. I would like to say, the current Governor has ruined this state, which he certainly has helped, but it has been in a downward spiral with the last several governors being woke elitists.

Hello. How did the TW do power wise? Looking to make a run from Canyonlands to Moab. Coming out Potash Rd. Trying to decide on a bike. TW200, XT250, or KLX230. Those are on my list. Just have to decide. Thanks
@KarlB
@KarlB 2 жыл бұрын
Hi Mike, I rode Moab with the factory tune, no mixture or jetting changes. Canyonlands peaks at about 6,000', and I didn't notice any real lack of power. LaSal Mtn Rd climbs over 8,300'. I didn't ride it, but I rode in Ouray, CO at 8,000'+ This is where altitude and stock jetting cause pain. Rough & noticeably lacking power at 8k, it was barely running at 11k. Tuning for altitude, or better yet a bike with EFI is necessary that high.

@@KarlB Thank you Karl for the reply. I've drove Shaffer Trail in out 4WD and can't wait to do it on a bike. We love it out west. The amount of trails is unbelievable as well as the free camping on BLM lands. Now I just have to decide on a bike. Good day my friend.
