In all reality, you are supposed to exfoliate the skin by using shaving cream and a hot steaming towel first. Then, apply more shaving cream, gel, or lather and with the straight razor, shave (WTG) with the grain then I would follow up with another hot towel, then apply some witch hazel ( not alcohol or shaving lotion) to avoid skin irritation.

🤔 Nice haircut, and from the looks of it, y'all could benefit from doing that estitician stuff (the hot towels and oils) on the face...starting with him. 😑I know they mostly do that soften bimps w/ingrown hairs but, its good for other cosmetic issues too.
