I felt bad for Tijuana. Undersized in goal and their frustration amongst each other was palpable. Their forwards had some speed, but they were heavily outplayed. Not sure if it's just this game or where their club is at for their season. Interesting how Ana Diaz's strength was on display in this game, but in NWSL matches it often gets her close to yellow cards.

This is really too bad. The last 5 matches have been difficult to watch. No possession on opposing half, 50/50 long balls from midfield, few shots on frame, poor use of width, no set piece goals, not using Smith to fullest advantage, doesn't talk to players during injury or heat breaks, no real strategy adjustments when playing top teams, late subs at 80 instead of 70. Less fireworks and pageantry, more strategy and coaching please

Take a last look at Ammy Rodriguez as coach of Utha Royal since she was axed after the game...yeah, after the Utha Royal played the best game of their young history!!!! Thoughts 1- Is she the escape goat for the from office's mistakes. a) She was not a proven coach, why did they hire her in the first place. b) Soney is on the market; did they jump to the opportunity to get Stoney? c) What about given AR capable, experienced people to work with her. d) The immediate impact on the player is negative. Very bad politics Utha Royals. 2-Does she get pay the whole bulk of her contract; she did no broke the contract, they did. a) Harvey in Seattle is not doing better them Ammy Rodrigues (for years now)!?!? b) I think, her firing was premature; at least a year to prove herself. c) "Liga MX femenil" axes coaches left and right, but at least, they let them coach the whole season. d) What else do you expect from an expansion team -They get the left over (players), what the other team do not want. -Unless they expend the money (like Bay fc); the front office does that, not the coach. -Even when you spend on players, is not sure to work up. -It's a process, it needs time to gel, to glue, to get chemistry, to bake, to grow and flourish...etc. Clearly...mistakes were made. got to star over (understandable). Do it right this time. Do the organization has the right to clean up their mistake (your opinion). -if not (why) -If yes, (Why and how should be done)

I am not a big Hubly fan….she is not my fave player on the Thorns she is not that good no offense. I like Morgan Weaver and Janine Beckie more than Hubly it is a team no question. I still like my team no matter who is on the team.

We need a coach! The last 3 have have been hard to watch, no possession in opposing half, no width, no shots on goal. Coach guzzles water at halftime instead of prepping his talk. We need a coach!!!
