Only if everyone understand all these, then the world will be more peaceful. Felt that greed for more is the root to all evil. I rather trade the modern convenience technology we have now for a simple life, growing up in the 80s, l find life simpler and human beings are more connected then now.

I am minimalistic and happy. If I wouldn't be, this video would be just 6 min of empty phrases and no idea what to do next. No change. Nice phrases and music... But no ideas and inspiration

What did the Buddha do with all the food presented to Him? This is an interesting question. Here I try to answer based on the buddhist teachings that I remember. The Buddha would not refuse food as it was alms, presented deliberately to Him. To refuse would be to deny the merits to the giver that would negate the subsequent good karma that the person would receive as result of this good deed. However He would advise His followers to present alms (food and other offerings such as cloth and medicine) to the Sangha or the assembly of monks who strive in holy life and meditation, as the resulting karma would be even greater because the Sangha includes the Buddha and all his disciples. The the banquet depicted in the scene in this video, this would never happen. The Buddha does not take his food out the table. He would take food only from dishes presented to Him, not choosing his own food. He would take tiny samples of all food, acknowledging the merit of each food and its donor. The rest of the food, I don't really remember. Maybe somebody could fill me in on that.

I chose to live in basic studio apartment and commute via mass transit. Less space to keep clean and not worry about vehicle maintenance, theft or vandalism. This lifestyle saves money, minimizes stress and provides me with piece of mind.

After 54yrs of caring for others and having to live in a big city, I now live off grid in a cabin. (30m x 30m). The woodlands are right beside me. I have solar power, a wind turbine will be next. ( it is Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 after all 😊 ). Rain water is collected and i’m planning for my veg garden for next year. I have no tv ( bliss ) and only patchy internet ( more bliss). Mostly it’s quiet apart from the bird song. This has been my most contented and relaxed I’ve ever been in my 66 years of life and a time that I’ve had the least possessions and conveniences. Okay must go and get on with my guitar practice. Apparently you’re never too old blah blah. All the Very best to all on here. 💚

I prefer my life style not only beautiful but healthy clean soul perfect soul .life also interesting others envy n admire.dont listen to hacker he jealous me interesting.cos is he keep comment my life alot anyhow accused my life so I no choice say the truth.if he is good will he do that?will he jealous my life .instead luxury life I don't admire. I still cant get it, how less is more ? As per your video, it is acceptance that plays key role in embracing LESS. Still then, I couldn't understand how it is giving more ????? Does anybody confirm what he says.... I feel like I miss more in living a life considering less is more.

Im here cz i enjoy simple things ..but as im in my 20s ..going to join corporates world.. so should i strive more for success that will bring a lot of stress.. or should i be happy in small things instead of striving more..?
