With medication it restricts the amount of exercise and prevents gains, which is a horrible side effect. But it may be possible to skip medication for a while at least to give cardio a chance to work. I did and found only then my duration could improve, without the legs becoming heavy and painful. Don't know for sure but I suspect my numbers are fine or else not causing any problems. For example I started to get gout in one ankle but it seems to be clearing up, which means a kidney function improvement. If I listened to my doctor I'd be taking regular and increased medication, and not jogging which he claims can loosen brain cells!

Great list. Also as it helps manage or reverse diabetic syndrome, there are many more benefits to those with poor health, including to every bodily organ and their functions which are affected by insulin resistance. That doesn't mean one can start abusing the diet, it needs to be a good healthy one, but it means maybe not so strict, with a little more carbs and sugar, such as in fruit or milk. Allergies may also improve. I always found jogging improved psychological conditions as well, plus I naturally wanted to eat well, and less. Less salt and sugar as taste sensitivity improves, less alcohol, likely smoking though I never did, and reduced need for coffee. I still like one in the morning before jogging tho. As it produces more energy and speeds metabolism, you feel like being more active, not always staying at home or avoiding work. I suspect it increases natural longevity in some cases. With aging people gain lots of fears, but these can greatly be eliminated. Doing weights are good too but not as good as jogging. With heavy lifting it is not done aerobically. If done aerobically it requires a long time commitment to a gym/fitness centre and expense. Ok for some but not necessary with a little home equipment.

I agree with the above comment. I set out to lose fat in my midsection and it was amazingly easy with hi fat low carbs and workouts everyday. I get up and workout at 5:30 to include an hour of cardio and 15-20 weights. I eat twice between 12-7. I have energy sometimes to even walk at lunch. I set out to only do this for thirty days and I’m on day 78. I’ve lost thirty pounds so far. Yeah the keto flu sucked but once you’re fat adaptive you’re never hungry so you can always eat right! That’s the secret!! I have no cravings for anything!!

Oh please cry me a river. Maybe men and women have different biology, but as a man in my thirties, and I was desperately wanting to lose my belly fat, I can tell you that the only way to do this is to completely dedicate yourself every single day to hitting the gym, intermittent fasting, trying a very basic high protein, low calorie eating routine. The way I personally did this, and this is just me as a man, is that I got up every single morning before I went to work, and I work a desk job by the way. I get up every day around 6:00 and I either go for a walk or a run outside or I'll hit the gym for at least an hour. At work on my lunch break I would rather go for a walk or do some push-ups in another room. I also have a stand desk where I can stand up rather than sitting all day. I would intermittent fast and wait until at least noon time to eat my first meal. My first meal generally consists of a split chicken breast, hot sauce, a very large salad with some dressing of my choice, and one or two potatoes with salt and pepper. Maybe even a little mustard. I would then not eat again until later that night, I don't care how hungry I was initially. After work, I hit the gym for at least 2 hours doing a ton of aerobics running and resistance training which means lifting very heavy weights that you're not used to lifting. Jumping jacks, push ups, lots of running, rowing, anything that's aerobic and gets the blood pumping. I also slept a lot better. If I was hungry at night, and I really desperately needed to eat something, I would have a rice patty, or a very large salad with anchovies because they are a good fat and also very low calorie. Also loved having my coffee at least twice a day. And then I started to drink tea and get off of the coffee. I did this very strictly for at least 3 months and I can tell you, not only did I learn to love this routine but the belly fat literally melted off and you can see the results pretty quickly. In just a few months. Anyone who birches and complains about losing weight, unless you are an enormous 500 lb gorilla, it's pretty easy to burn off once you get into a routine. And it can actually be a lot of fun, and let me tell you you feel a lot better. You sleep better you eat better you think better. Your sex drive goes up, I just everything improves. And also lay off the alcohol. Every other weekend I might have a little something but overall I didn't really have the desire to drink either. I'll just kind of went away after I got my health back. I'm 36 and I look amd feel great. I don't know what this woman be talking about in this video. Yes in the beginning phases your initially going to be hungry and probably struggling with that, sure. I did as well. But your stomach actually shrinks the more you fast and you actually become less hungry as time goes on. So I don't know what this woman is talking about because that has not been my experience. Good luck everyone!

You gotta wait till the hunger goes away that’s really what it is as long as you do t lower your calories to low and you eat low calorie dense foods you’ll be fine. When your are trying to lose body fat you should feel a “little” hungry it’s an indication that you are in a calorie deficit

What ??? Doctors told me at Lexington medical center that hyperlipidemia was a protrusion of brain from the base of the skull, unprotected bye the skull . Why would they lie to me for 10 year's ? A car accident lead to damage to this protruding section of brain , that ultimately lead to a complete change in my heart rate and lead to my stroke. A top athlete in school , a forest fire fighter and EMT courses always showed a healthy heart rate all my life . Until a car accident put my head threw the windshield. Causing this damage. Sense the accident my heart rate has significantly lowers several times a day to as low as 37 beats a minute. Starving my brain of Nessusary adequate oxygen , adrenaline and healthy blood cells . It has been implied that this damage is causing my heart to receive false signal's , telling my heart that I'm going into hypothermia , slowing my rate down to dangerous levels for alertness needed for daily safety and decreasing testosterone that acts as a natural pain reliever from old and new injuries . Please in God's name , respond. I suffer greatly because of zero medical treatment. Awarded disability 10 year's ago based on these findings, just last month they cut me off. If I go back to work like this nobody around me will be safe . I've already ran off the road for my first time because I couldn't get off the road quick enough , and ran my own foot over with my lawnmower , mutilating several toes . This danger is very real. I'm afraid I will be forced to put lives in danger just to feed myself. I'm going threw an appeal but it doesn't look good. PS , testing show's I do not have high cholesterol.

Currently, in compliance with Massachusetts Department of Public Health regulations, all patients, staff members and visitors are required to wear masks in health care facilities unless they have a documented condition or disability that requires a mask accommodation. We urge expectant mothers to talk to their OB or midwife about how this can be managed during delivery to ensure a comfortable and safe experience, or call 978-369-1400 and ask to speak with someone in our birthing center.

I'm posting this here as a warning to locals about this ER. My mom had a fall at her nursing home & was rushed to this ER for a head injury yesterday - I met her at the hospital. She had a 3 inch head laceration, broken nose, dislocated finger, and possible broken ribs. Though verbal and mobile, she has severe dementia so she has no comprehension skills. If I had not been there this would've been a very dangerous hospital experience for her, as she had no idea where she was or what was going on and the monitoring she received was minimal at best. The ER doctor I spoke with understood her condition & that treatment needed to be handled carefully and quickly (as he put it) because she wasn't cognitively aware enough to cooperate. After our treatment plan discussion, I sat in an ER room with her, covered in her own blood, for an hour and fifteen minutes without so much as a single check in by the nurses. I had to restrain her to the bed myself, as she kept trying to get up. I had to adjust her neck brace myself, as she kept removing it or chewing on it, and the nurses were not checking in on her at all. It was only when the neck brace lodged in her mouth and I yelled out that she was choking on it that the nurses arrived (of course, the doctor did too at that point). With the doctor in the room, our experience improved. He quickly reset her finger & applied glue to close the laceration on her forehead. Then he told the nurses to administer Tylenol for the pain and assured me that they would assist her with a bedpan, as mom kept yelling that she needed to use the bathroom. The nurses walked out the room with him and we never saw any of them again. Three hours later and despite my multiple urgent requests at the nurses station, she still had not received Tylenol or a bed pan. When the ambulance arrived to transport her back to the nursing home, the EMTs noticed that she had soiled her diaper but we agreed that at this point the best thing was probably to get her back to the nursing home so that they could tend to her needs. It was only once she was back at the nursing home that she was cleaned up of all the blood, finally administered Tylenol, and had her dirty diaper changed. Oh - and the feedback I got from the nursing home this morning was that all the chest monitor stickers they had placed on her at the ER were still on her when she arrived at the nursing home last night. One still had a wire attached. They removed all of them when they cleaned her up. As far as I'm concerned, I witnessed elder neglect in the ER last night. Patients beware.
