Imho this is really a 1st class fly. Also relatively simple for tyers to build up diversity of shrimp patterns for their fly box. Thanks a lot for the video. Even buy some Ahrex hooks for this build. 😁

I wonder if we fly tyers must start to think more deeply about the material we select for the flies we tie. The jungle cock is threatened and many times protected. In lots of countries, they are protected and not open for import/export. Why do we fly tyers use materials that do not affect fishing besides for the person who ties the fly? Professional fly tyer should know, act, and be The Front Person for the rest of us.

Every part of this fly is masterfully tied. You seem to have no weaknesses in your game. Craft fur, hackle, marabou, deer hair, etc. all do your bidding without fighting you. You have the magic touch.
