How many teeth on each sprocket? Did you find the speed suitable and what was the overall diameter of the wheel? Looks good.

Too much flex. It will fail. Should have just made a dolly.

Great job. My research has shown that wheelchair motors are better for this setup. They don't have so much noise and you can do away with chain and sprocket......just hook drive directly to axle.

We all know we saw a 2000 pound winch motor... and an almost FLAT TIRE once the tongue weight was released full value on the Trailer Mule... Thinking from what we saw... double wheels would be better suited... and or converting to Solid Rubber Wheels from Pneumatic Tires... Looking at what we saw done here.. which was an excellent video and concept.. My 20 foot Cargo Trailer... being about 2,500 empty will be needing more than the standard 5,000 weight Trailer Dolly's we see available... Going to engineer and build my own with dual wench motors and see if the Pneumatic dual tires are not going to grip on the asphault better than Sold Rubber Tires which I have heard can slip on concrete and asphault under adverse / wet conditions... For those of us who are other than weeiend warriors... looking for as light weight and powerful a tool and compact as possible... Might prefer building the hand dolly ball version vs... perminant mount... Portable battery box sitting on the tongue gives me 900 cranking amps to run the wench motors in unision for lengthy periods of time... this was a great engineering video....

Good video... each one we see shares different engineering result specfications...Quite interesting seeing the value - responce - and reaction of the tilt up wheel mechanism mount want to colapse when it takes the blunt of the trailers dead weight combined forces on the Mules structure... pivot point... Having been, had, used and installed all sorts of pieces of equipment on a trailer tongue... lots of ways to get away from the tongue pivot bracket and go to a spare tire mount to frame 12 or 16 inch offset ( rise ) allowing the Trailer Mule to rise up to 16 inches above pavment... using a power tongue jack which can allow up to 18 inches of rise...
