My first choice every time Seminyak , have been going there 30years 25 visits. Kuta is a 40 min walk along the beach from there. Legian / Padma would be my next choices then Kuta. Seminyak is eay to hire a drive for the day and visit other parts of Bali. Cangu is hard to get around, over run with young people and Eastern Eurpopeans. From Seminyak Im 61 years young if you facing the water turn right, left is to Kuta. It took me 2.5 hours to walk to Cangu.

I wish, Had to go back to Aust for work duties and will be back in Bali mid march to late April next year. I will see If I can fine time in Nov this year but work looks to busy. When there look up Uncle Chans Beach Bar on Legian beach, my go to for my daily Bintang. It is on the beach infront on the Azul Beach Club Bali

Yes Dengue is a problem , it is a problem in places like Cairns as well. I have been 24 times all times of the year to Bali and never caught it. I use Tropical strength repllent, my favorite is Bushman 40 % deet. Deet strength is important most have 20% but buy the one with 40%. Spray on open exposed skin, face . I put a spray on my clothes as well. If you hear a mosquito in your room don't worry they don't carry Dengue.

Hi Nicole, I am staying at the Puri Saron and trying some others just for something new after 30 years. See attached link for a quick look at my standard room at the Puri for around $90 I can recommend their super superior room 6201 which over looks the pool, I think that was $135 through negotaing direct with the Puri. Photos of that room on Iine are true to form. kzbin.info/www/bejne/j3uuYpl-gd5mY6c I am staying at the Sari Bunga Hotel near 200m from Double 6 Beach on next visit as they gave me a deal for $50 a day as I will be for a month next March April for scilent Day celebrations. The Puri and Staff are always my go to hotel and people but I could not go past the other hotels offer saving me a extra 50% on accomodation costs.

I am returning in October but staying in the Chalet this time I was wondering about the pool room and if you liked it. I love the area Double Six and the hotel. Your videos are very informative. I love the poolview room and I have stayed in the Chalet as well. The staff make this hotel, look for Madri and Mina who work in the restaruant at the Puri. Also the chicken hawian pizza at the iPuri ( fantastic)

They are a beautiful family and I have people in Bali making sure they are ok.

It really is! Restaruants at the front and the beach at the back of the hotel too.

Yes beaches are alot cleaner, the problem is not just big rains in Bali , its when other islands have big rains, the tides bring their washed out rubbish to the Bali beaches via the tides. The $15 tourist tax has been put in to help with the problem to keep cleaner beaches.

La Lucciola has a great Ragu Bolognese and don't forgetr the chocolate lava pudding.

Sorry Santorini was not up to expectations , that is really ashame. When I was their in Nov and Feb it was good. I hope they are not letting the Seminyak restarurant slip, since they now have 3 places Kuta & Canggu as well. Hope you enjoyed the rest of Bali
