It wasn’t written on a seven string. It wasn’t recorded on a seventh string it was never played on a seventh string. You don’t use seven string for your cover. Use a six string. I would’ve liked and saved your video dummy. I’m gonna play smoke on the water for my cover, but it’s gonna be on a 9 string guitar

11 years later and I still haven’t recovered from seeing this video. After trying desperately to learn this for so long, I lose my mind and rage quit life only to find this cover- some kid half my age playing through this damn thing like it’s the “iron man” riff or something. Then… everything went black. I came to at some point and after playing with my soiled undergarments for a bit (virally yours!)… and pushing through the pressing urge for spite su-cide… I came to accept that in life, sometimes there’s people that are just way better at certain things than you’ll ever be- and that it’s ok to just go into a marketing career or something similarly gay like that. For real though I’ve seen thousands of covers in my day and this is legit one of the most impressive ones that to this day I still can’t fathom when I watch it. Is it real or a dub? And wonder how long it took him to get that muscle memory down to be able to play it so smoothly and without hesitation. I am trying to see maybe his technique of how he’s forming the chords or how he transitions between the notes to see if maybe he’s figured out an easier way to make it more fluid… nope he’s just playing it normally. I think. I can’t even fkn tell cause his fingers are moving too fast. 11 years later and I wanna rage quit again lol… fml. RIP Trevor btw, we miss you.
