Thanks for the review! I have a whole family of ferals I've been taking care of. I have a question about the insulation. Do you feel that the insulation is necessary to keep them warm? I've been seeing a whole bunch of cat houses that don't have insulation. I live in an area that doesn't get snow, but it does dip down into the 30s in the winter. I want to ensure they are warm, whilst also having enough space for 6-8 kitties. The one Im looking to get is the double decker one.

Hi! I love that you are taking care of some ferals! I think the insulation definitely helps but is not absolutely necessary. I mean you can put down a warm bed at the bottom and even your own foam if you wanted. But just having a nice shelter like that is huge and would keep them warm! I love the double decker one!

@@HFamReviews Thank you so much for the reply! Yeah I will consider that option as well. I think Ill only be saving like $20 though after buying self warming mats for both floors. I wonder about the coldness on the sides though. Also, there is a possibility of stray dogs coming around and I was thinking of getting one with a 3rd escape door. Im kinda torn between 2 models: one with insulation but 2 doors, and one without insulation but 3 doors. But I think safety and warmth are equally important.

Wpw 3 years and it still looks new. Are you all applying any spray on protection on the cover?

No, we haven't applied anything to it! We just have a long brush to wash it when we wash our truck, which isn't that often! That is a good idea to put some kind of protection on it, but still looks good without it!

I bought this from Amazon yesterday and was excited to use it to help with a pinched nerve in my lower back. However, it doesn't turn on when I press the power button even though the battery pack on the belt is lit. I will call their customer service department tomorrow to see if they can help.

I actually don't have one! But what I like about this is that it still leaves some bigger chunks so it's not so finely shredded. I like big and small chunks for pasta or like pulled pork sandwiches and I feed my cat a small amount of chicken breast every day and this works great for that!
