Quickly figured out Alex is the true main character, never understood why exactly but never complained cuz she was awesome. As a guy having been only a year younger when watching the show, I liked how she wasn’t your typical annoying girl like you had in high school. You know the ones acting like GG or however you spell her name.

The thing that I love about Alex's character is that she's the first mischievious character to be female, a main protagonist AND not a tomboy*. She's pretty feminine and doesn't hate on other girls, she's just hella sassy and I think that's very helpful because it teaches that you don't need to be a soft girl or whatever. *I'm referring to characters like Sam from iCarly who is mischevious, but is a second character. Usually this role was given to male co-stars like Zack from Zack and Cody
