I like this version so much better than the original. It sounds, idk, sadder, angrier, more desperate? More emotional. I also don’t like banjos, so the original doesn’t work for me.

It's so funny listening to this song because my ex was best friends with my current boyfriend; my ex neglected me a bit too much by letting their friends hurt me consistently so I eventually brought myself to leave with help from my friends and current boyfriend. It's actually true that he wouldn't know me without my ex, though. I met him through them. "If it wasn't for them, I wouldn't know my best friend" is 100% accurate. My ex also keeps getting ghosted and stuff by ppl trying to find a new partner. They said before they didn't think they'd ever have a girlfriend, so they might just be fucked over now. /shrug

Only started listening to this song because of Osu! a few weeks ago. Now I listen to Tonight Alive and especially this song alot. I am saddened that they disbanded but this is my favorite song from them. I am especially sad because Tonight Alive doesnt treat this song as well as their originals because it's essentially a cover. Though it is their most popular song to date.
