It could have been a good video, but the camera is too high. Expectator can see a lot of the roof most of the time. Try to correct it and upload again.

I find the suspension a bit soft at high speeds. I have the R171 350 manual. My car is limited to 155mph, not that I go that fast.

My 1970 1.4 would top out at 104mph. There was still room to go till the redline of 6800 but at around 6500 the engine would start to stumble as if it wasn’t getting enough fuel. I checked the fuel filter, pump, lines, carb, etc but was never able to find the problem and even in rural country you couldn’t get away with making too many top speed test runs back in the day when the Police were hot on enforcing the new 55mph speed limit.

If you're American then you had the de-tuned version, making it to 100mph would be quite something. This Volumex (supercharger) version was only available in Europe and it would have no problem hitting those speeds.
